A compressor control method of controlling the vibration amplitude of a compressor equipped with a motor by using the motor is provided. The compressor is driven by the motor, and this method includes controlling, in a specific operating area, the vibration amplitude of the compressor such that the vibration amplitude is substantially constant regardless of changes in the load imposed on the motor and in the number of revolutions of the motor per unit time.

A rotary compressor includes a casing including an oil reservoir configured to store lubricating oil inside, and a compression mechanism including a reciprocator and a support. The reciprocator defines a compression chamber and reciprocating along a first direction. The support has a support surface configured to support the reciprocator. The support surface includes a first groove and a second groove formed therein. The first groove extends along a second direction intersecting with the first direction and is configured to transfer the lubricating oil to the second groove. The second groove extends from a center of the first groove toward the compression chamber along the first direction.

A compressor includes a cylinder, a shaft including a main shaft and an eccentric part, a roller part having an inner circumferential surface fitted on an outer circumferential surface of the eccentric part so as to make an orbital motion, a blade part along with the roller part partitioning inside of the cylinder chamber into low and high pressure chambers, and sliding bearing parts fixed to the cylinder and including cylindrical surfaces supporting the main shaft. A relation (&#x3c6;Ds&#x2212;&#x3c6;Dr)/2&#x3c;&#x3b5; is satisfied. &#x3c6;Ds is an inside diameter of the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder chamber, &#x3c6;Dr is an outside diameter of the outer circumferential surface of the roller part, and &#x3b5; is an eccentricity of a central axis of the eccentric part relative to a central axis of the main shaft. Central axes of the cylindrical surfaces are eccentric relative to a central axis of the inner circumferential surface.

Compressor

A compressor includes a compression mechanism and a resin layer including a stack of three or more layers formed on a whole area or a portion of at least one surface of at least one part of the compression mechanism. A hardness of a layer most distant from a base in the resin layer is smaller than a hardness of a layer closest to the base in the resin layer. A difference in hardness between two adjacent layers in the resin layer is smaller than a difference in hardness between the layer most distant from the base and the layer closest to the base.

A compressor includes sliding members arranged to slide relative to each other when compressing a refrigerant. At least one of the sliding members has a resin layer that is formed on the whole area or a portion of at least one sliding surface. The resin layer has an arithmetic mean surface roughness (Ra) of 0.3 or more, or the whole area or a portion of an area opposed to the resin layer is entirely or partially harder than the resin layer and has an arithmetic mean surface roughness (Ra) of 0.3 or more.

An enclosed compressor includes a compression element configured to compress a working fluid, a casing and a fixing member. The casing has a substantially cylindrical shell plate and houses the compression element. The fixing member is welded to the shell plate. The compression element is fixed to the fixing member by at least six fastening bolts.

A compressor has stator of a motor is installed in a closed container, on two planes normal to the center axisof the container. On each of the planes, the stator is welded to the container at three welding points. This mounting arrangement on two planes with three welding points on each plane minimizes the amount of movement of the stator in the direction of the center axis.

A hermetic compressor is disposed with an annular motor stator, a motor rotor, a casing and plural spot joining portions. The motor rotor is disposed such that it may freely rotate in a space inside the motor stator. The casing includes a cylindrical portion. The cylindrical portion houses the motor stator and the motor rotor. The plural spot joining portions fix the motor stator to the cylindrical portion by spot joining in a state where a clearance is secured between the motor stator and the cylindrical portion.

A front head of a cylinder and a mounting plate are tightly fixed to each other. The mounting plate is welded to a casing. The mounting plate is made of steel containing 2.0% or less of carbon therein. Furthermore, a stator core of a compressor motor is welded to the casing. A hermetic sealed compressor is configured in a high-pressure domed type. A supercritical fluid is used as an operating fluid.

In a scroll compressor, a sliding direction of a Oldham coupling is defined such that an acting direction of an inertia force of the Oldham coupling is substantially opposite to an acting direction of a reaction force by gas compression, and thereby a range of fluctuation of a total torque of a first rotational torque acting on an orbiting scroll by the reaction force of gas compression and a second rotational torque of sliding movement of the Oldham coupling becomes smaller than that of the first rotational torque to suppress a noise and vibration caused by fluctuation of a rotational torque of the orbiting scroll without any limited designing of an involute shape thereof.
