A micromixer includes: a first channel plate where a first channel and a plurality of first branch channels are each formed by a non-through groove in a front surface, and a first confluence channel is formed by a non-through groove in a rear surface, and includes a first communication channel that communicates the first branch channels with the first confluence channel; a first lid plate that covers the front surface; a second channel plate where a second confluence channel is formed by a non-through groove in the front surface, and a second channel and a plurality of second branch each formed by a non-through groove in the rear surface, and includes a second communication channel that communicates the second branch channels with the second confluence channel; and a second lid plate that covers the rear surface of the second channel plate.

A liquid sending failure detector acquires periodically a liquid sending pressure of a liquid sending mechanism consecutively sends liquid using at least one plunger pump that sends liquid by reciprocally driving a plunger such that a fluctuation is read in one driving period of the liquid sending mechanism, and detect a liquid sending failure of the liquid sending mechanism using an acquired liquid sending pressure. The liquid sending failure detector executes a pulsation detection step of obtaining a fluctuation range of the liquid sending pressure in a certain driving period of the liquid sending mechanism and detecting pulsation on a condition that a count of consecutive periods in which the fluctuation range exceeds a predetermined reference value exceeds a predetermined reference count, and a liquid sending failure detection step of detecting a liquid sending failure of the liquid sending mechanism when the pulsation is detected in the pulsation detection step.

A first liquid sending controller of an analysis control device controls a first liquid sender such that a mobile phase is supplied to a fluorescence detector through an analysis column and a junction during an analysis of a sample. A sample introduction controller controls a sample introducer such that the sample is introduced into a mobile phase by the sample introducer at a position farther upstream than the analysis column during the analysis of the sample. The second liquid sending controller causes a second liquid sender to start supplying a fluorescent reaction liquid such that the fluorescent reaction liquid arrives at the junction later than a point in time at which supply of the mobile phase starts and before the sample introduced into the mobile phase arrives at the junction during the analysis of the sample. A generator generates a chromatogram based on an output signal of the fluorescence detector during the analysis of the sample.

In a pre-processing system, a state in which a sample dispensing probeand a syringe pumpcommunicate with each other through a channeland a state in which the sample dispensing probeand a culture tankcommunicate with each other through the channels, andcan be switched by operation of the three-way valvesand. For this reason, the liquid sample in the culture tankcan be automatically discharged from the sample dispensing probewithout requiring the user to directly sample the liquid sample. As a result, in the pre-processing system, the user's manual sampling work can be omitted, and the user's work can be simplified.

Obtaining sufficient suppression effect of channel diffusion and stably transferring solution are made possible even in a piping having an extremely small inner diameter used for an analysis apparatus such as an HPLC. A gasket sandwiched between a flow cell and a joint member has, in a main flat surface, an inlet communication hole for communicating between an inlet hole of the flow cell and an inlet flow path of the joint member and an outlet communication hole for communicating between an outlet hole of the flow cell and an outlet flow path of the joint member. Spectrophotometer

The flow cell is composed of a cell block and a cell holder. The cell block is light transmittable and is provided with a plurality of cells communicated with each other and mutually different in optical path length and an inlet and an outlet communicated with the cell. The plurality of cells include a short optical path length cell having an optical path length of 100 &#x3bc;m or less. The short optical path length cell is constituted by a groove formed on an inner joining surface of a plurality of laminated light transmitting substrates. The optical path length of the short optical path length cell is defined by a depth of the groove. The cell holder is configured to accommodate the cell block therein, and is provided with an incident window for allowing light to enter the cell block and an emission window for emitting the light transmitted through the cell block.

Flow cell

A problem addressed by the present invention is to reduce the influence of stray light incident on each light-receiving element in the case of receiving each wavelength of light using a plurality of light-receiving elements. The multichannel spectrophotometer according to the present invention is a detector for simultaneously detecting the entirety of wavelength-dispersed light obtained by introducing light from a sample to a light-dispersing element () and dispersing this light into wavelengths by the light-dispersing element (), including: a multichannel-type detector () including a plurality of light-receiving elements arranged in a one-dimensional form in a wavelength-dispersing direction of the light-dispersing element; a light amount calculator () for calculating the amount of light from a detection signal of each of the plurality of light-receiving elements (PD); a spectrum creator () for creating, from the amounts of light calculated by the light amount calculator (), a spectrum showing a relationship between wavelength and the amount of light; and a computing section () for estimating, from the spectrum, the amount of stray light incident on each light-receiving element (PD) and correcting the spectrum by subtracting, from the amount of wavelength-dispersed light incident on each light-receiving element, the amount of stray light.

A flow cell including a flow cell bod having a flow path formed therein; an optically transmissive member disposed at a part wherein light from the light source is incident into, or emitted from, the flow path; a shock absorbing member that is disposed between the optically transmissive member and the cell body; an elastic member, made from a metal material, for pressing the optically transmissive member toward the cell body side; and a fastening tool, attached to the cell body, for positioning the elastic member.

A heat insulating memberis provided on the outer circumference of a connection pipe. The heat insulating memberincludes: a tube; and an air layerbetween the connection pipeand the tube. Accordingly, it is possible to always keep the temperature of a sample component at the time of detection by a detector constant and thus prevent an influence of the temperature on an output result of the detector, in a low flow rate analysis using a modularized column unit and a modularized detection unit.

A spectroscopic device includes a lamp house accommodating a light source inside, a spectrometer configured to disperse light from the lamp house, a temperature measurement means for measuring a temperature of the spectrometer, a heating means for heating the spectrometer, a storage means and a control unit. The storage means stores the detection temperature of the temperature measurement means at a time when an optical axis is stable in the spectrometer in a state where the light source is illuminated. The control unit is configured to control operation of the heating means, and to cause the heating means to operate, when the light source is illuminated from a light-off state, until a detection temperature of the temperature measurement means reaches the detection temperature stored in the storage means.
