A color diffusion transfer photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, said light-sensitive material comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of polymers obtained by the condensation of at least one of compounds represented by the general formula (I) and at least one of compounds represented by the general formula (II) in the presence of an acid or alkaline catalyst; polymers obtained by the condensation of at least one of compounds represented by the general formula (I) and at least one of compounds represented by the general formula (III) in the presence of an acid catalyst; novolak resins obtained by the condensation of at least one of compounds represented by the general formula (I) and at least one of compounds represented by the general formula (IV) in the presence of an acid catalyst in a uniform organic solvent system while eliminating off water produced upon azeotropy; and polymers obtained by the condensation of at least one of compounds represented by the general formula (I) and at least one of compounds represented by the general formula (V) in the presence of an acid catalyst: ##STR1## wherein G represents a hydroxyl group or a group which undergoes hydrolysis by an alkali to produce a hydroxyl group; n represents an integer 1 or more, with the proviso that the plurality of G's may be the same or different; R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.13, R.sup.14, R.sup.23, R.sup.33, R.sup.43, R.sup.44 and R.sup.45 are defined in the specification.

A method for forming a color image which comprises imagewise exposing a color photographic material comprising a reflective support having thereon at least one photosensitive layer containing a color coupler capable of forming a dye image through its coupling reaction with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent and a silver halide emulsion and processing it with a color developing solution containing substantially no benzyl alcohol, wherein the color development is carried out under the condition that a substantially colorless anionic surface active agent having an unsubstituted aliphatic group, a substituted aliphatic group excluding a fluorine-substituted aliphatic group, or an unsubstituted or substituted aromatic group as a hydrophobic group; and --SO.sub.3 M, --SO.sub.2 M, --OSO.sub.3 M, or --OSO.sub.2 M, wherein M represents a hydrogen atom or a metallic atom or atomic group capable of being a cation, as a hydrophilic group in the molecule thereof is present in the photosensitive layer in an amount within a range of from 0.1 to 3 times the total weight of the color couplers applied in the photosensitive layer during the color development.

A photographic light-sensitive element is described comprising a support having provided thereon at least one of a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and an image-receiving layer, in which a layer comprising a light-reflective organic polymer is provided between the support and the light-sensitive silver halide layer or the image-receiving layer. The light-reflective organic polymer layer serves as a stripping layer without retarding image-formation.

Color photographic light-sensitive material

A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing, in at least one layer thereof, a compound capable of releasing a fogging agent upon an oxidation-reduction reaction with an oxidation product of a developing agent under an alkaline condition. Photographic light-sensitive material with reducible photographically

A color diffusion transfer photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support, at least one silver halide layer on the support, said emulsion layer being associated with a dye-providing compound, and an image-receiving layer on the same support as above or on another support, wherein said photographic light-sensitive material is able to provide a transferred dye image composed of a diffusible dye or its precursor released or derived from the dye-providing compound as a result of development under a strong alkaline condition in the presence of at least one meso ionic 1,2,4-triazolium-3-thiolate compound. In the present material, fog can be prevented efficiently without causing the problems of a reduction in sensitivity and a decrease in rate of development.

Diffusion transfer color photographic material with meso-ionic

A color photographic light-sensitive material is described, containing at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and associated with at least one of said emulsion layer at least one dye-providing compound represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein Q.sub.1, G, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, Q.sub.2, J.sub.1, J.sub.2, D, Z, X, Car, m and q are defined as herein. The color photographic light-sensitive material provides a transfer color image with a good hue and a good sharpness.
