The present invention relates to an automatic spray painting machine comprising a first movable portion movable in a direction toward and away from a work object, a second movable portion movable in a specified direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the first movable portion, a supporting portion for supporting a spray nozzle, a first actuator for moving the first movable portion, and a second actuator for moving the second movable portion. The first and second actuators are mounted on the supporting portion. The automatic spray painting machine further includes a transmission mechanism for transmitting drive of the actuator to the movable portion positioned closer to the spray nozzle in the supporting order effects drive transmission, with the other movable portion positioned closer to the supporting portion in the supporting order being allowed to move.

Automatic spray painting machine

A spray painting apparatus having an arm attached with a spray nozzle and a support unit for pivotably supporting the arm via a pivot shaft. An arc-shaped guide is provided to either the arm or the support unit, with the guide being coaxial with and larger in diameter than the pivot shaft while a drive unit is provided to the other of the arm and the support unit so as to move either the support unit or the arm relative to and along a periphery of the arc-shaped guide.

Spray painting apparatus arm support

A painting machine unit including a painting booth having a side wall with a substantially vertical wall portion insertable in an opening in the booth side wall and having a viewing window therethrough. The unit also includes a painting machine attached to an inner side of the wall portion and has a device for automatic painting of objects within the booth, and a control unit for controlling the device for automatic painting of objects within the booth. The control unit attaches to an outer side of the wall portion and is surrounded by a control chamber housing for accommodating painting booth operator.

Painting machine and control unit for use in a painting booth

An automatic painting apparatus comprising a spraying booth having ceiling openings through which ventilating air is delivered to the spraying booth in downward laminar flows. The spraying booth houses a portal framework including a pair of vertical frames disposed on both sides of a conveying track of articles under a spraying treatment, and a cross frame extending between the vertical frames over and across the article conveying track. The cross frame carries spray guns for spraying paint downwardly. A spray gun moving mechanism connects the cross frame to the vertical frames to be dispaceable longitudinally of the cross frame. One of the vertical frames includes a cross frame drive mechanism for reciprocating the cross frame longitudinally thereof.
