A pump apparatus includes: a rotational shaft; a hub portion mounted to the rotational shaft; a centrifugal pump vane mounted to a circumferential surface of the hub portion; an annular disc portion mounted to a tip end of the centrifugal pump vane; and an axial turbine blade mounted to an outer circumferential surface of the annular disc portion. A liquid flow passage through which a liquid flowing from a first side toward a second side in an axis direction of the rotational shaft flows into the centrifugal pump vane is formed at a radially inner side of the annular disc portion, and a gas flow passage through which a gas flowing from the second side toward the first side passes through the axial turbine blade is formed at a radially outer side of the annular disc portion.

Pump apparatus

A scramjet engine includes first and second flow path forming members and first and second fuel injection devices. A flow path formed between the first and second flow path forming members includes a turbulence forming region where compressed air is introduced and a combustion region located downstream thereof. The second flow path forming member is formed with a protrusion in the turbulence formation region. The first fuel injection device is configured to inject fuel into the compressed air via a first fuel nozzle. The second flow path forming member is formed with a cavity located in the combustion region. The second fuel injection device is configured to inject fuel into the compressed air via a second fuel nozzle. The cavity is provided with an inclined surface connected to a bottom surface. An inclination of the inclined surface is adjusted so that a shock wave is generated in the combustion region.

Scramjet engine and flying object

A scramjet engine has a first passage forming member and a second passage forming member. A passage is formed between a first surface and a second surface. The passage has an upstream zone, a combustion zone and a downstream zone. A cavity of a concave shape is provided on the first surface in the combustion zone. The first passage forming member has a convex section located in the upstream zone, a first fuel injection section configured to inject fuel into the passage from a first fuel nozzle provided for the convex section, and a second fuel injection section configured to inject fuel to the cavity. The second passage forming member has a third fuel injection section configured to inject fuel to a direction toward the first surface from the second surface in the passage through a second fuel nozzle provided in the downstream zone.

Scramjet engine

A DDS preparation of a platinum complex, which selectively releases a highly active platinum complex in cells that are under reducing conditions, and exhibits high antitumor activity that is required from a medicine, is still not available, and there is a demand for a novel DDS preparation of a platinum complex that may be used in clinical fields. There is provided a polymer conjugate of a hexa-coordinated platinum complex, the polymer conjugate comprising a block copolymer having a polyethylene glycol structural moiety and a polyaspartic acid moiety or a polyglutamic acid moiety; and a hexa-coordinated platinum complex having a halogen atom and a hydroxyl group at the axial positions, the hexa-coordinated platinum complex being bonded, directly or via a spacer, to a side-chain carboxyl group of the block copolymer.

According to the present invention, there is a demand for novel platinum(IV) complex which has sufficient water-solubility, stability, antitumor activity, and the like that are required as a medicine, and may be used clinically. Thus, provided is a platinum(IV) complex represented by the following General Formula (I) [wherein Xand Xeach represent a halogen atom or are bonded together to form a dicarboxylate selected from the group consisting of oxalate, malonate, succinate, and o-phthalate; and Y represents a halogen atom. 

Platinum (IV) complex

A DDS preparation of a platinum complex, which exhibits a superior antitumor effect required as a medicine and reduced side effects, that is, a clinically usable DDS preparation of a platinum complex, which is conjugated to a polymer carrier that is different from conventional carriers, is desired. Provided is a polymer conjugate of a platinum(II) complex, the polymer conjugate including: a block copolymer having a polyethylene glycol structural moiety and a polyaspartic acid moiety or a polyglutamic acid moiety; a sulfoxide derivative introduced into a side-chain carboxyl group of the block copolymer; and a platinum(II) complex coordinate-bonded to a sulfoxide group of the sulfoxide derivative.

Disclosed is a triazole derivative(s) represented by the general formula (1) below or a pharmacologically acceptable salt(s) thereof. Also disclosed are a prodrug(s) of such a triazole derivative(s) and an HSP90 inhibitor(s) containing any one of them as an active constituent. HSP90 inhibitor

Disclosed herein is a mowing apparatus including: a motive power source for supplying rotating motion; a mowing head; a pair of first and second cutting disks slidably superposed with each other, each of the disks including a plurality of peripheral cutting teeth and the first and second cutting disks being oscillatably mounted to the mowing head; a mechanism for reciprocatively oscillating the first and second cutting disks oppositely with each other within a predetermined oscillating range, the reciprocatively oscillating mechanism being accommodated in the mowing head and adapted to be driven by the rotational motion supplied form the motive power source; and a mechanism for changing the mounting position of the first and second cutting disks about the mowing head in the circumferential directions of the cutting disks so that a portion to be used for mowing in the first and second cutting disks can be changed without removing the first and second cutting disks from the apparatus, the mounting position changing mechanism being adapted to be driven by the rotating motion of the motive power source.

Oscillating-type mowing apparatus

Disclosed is a mowing apparatus, which includes a motive power source, first and second cutting wheels slidably superposed with each other and provided with a number of grass cutting edges, and mechanism for reciprocatively rotating each cutting wheel in opposite directions through a predetermined angle. The rotating mechanism includes a first shaft coupled to the first wheel, a cylindrical-shaped second shaft into which the first shaft is rotatably and coaxially inserted and coupled to the second wheel, and converting mechanism provided between the power source and the first and second shafts for converting the rotational motion from the power source into two oppositely and reciprocatively rotational motions of the first and second shaft within the predetermined angle. The rotational motion converting mechanism comprises a cam shaft rotatably driven by the motive power source, the cam shaft being provided in parallel with the first and second shafts, first and second eccentric cam plates which are eccentrically fixed to the cam shaft so as to be radially symmetrical with each other with respect to a central axis of the cam shaft, and first and second arms each having opposite ends, a concave portion being formed at one end thereof, and the other ends of the first and second arms being fixedly coupled to the first and second shafts, each concave portion of the first and second arms being adapted to receive each of the first and second cam plates, in such a manner that the first and second arms can be pivotably oscillated in mutually opposite directions to each other in accordance with the rotation of the first and second cam plates.
