The present invention aims to provide a medicament capable of treating and/or preventing diseases associated with oxidative stress by inhibiting the protein-protein interaction between Keap1 and Nrf2 and activating Nrf2. The present invention relates to a compound represented by the following formula (1): wherein each symbol is as described in the DESCRIPTION, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
