A terminal-fitted wire includes a wire in which a core is covered by a coating and which includes a core exposed portion at an end, a terminal including a core crimping portion to be crimped and connected to the core exposed portion of the wire, and a corrosion-resistant member. The corrosion-resistant member includes a close-contact portion to be fitted on and held in close contact with the terminal or the coating of the wire at a position either closer to the leading end of the terminal or closer to the coating of the wire than a contact part of the core exposed portion and the core crimping portion and a corrosion-resistant coating extending from the close-contact portion to cover the contact part of the core exposed portion and the core crimping portion and capable of being rolled or folded back from a leading end part toward the close-contact portion.

Terminal-fitted wire, terminal-fitted wire manufacturing method and corrosion resistant member

The lead-out side end of a drain wire led out from a shield wire and either a conductor exposed to one end of a ground wire, to the other end of which a ground terminal is connected, or a conductor exposed to one end of a ground wire, to the other end of which a connector receiving terminal is connected, are collectively connected together by crimping by using a U-shape cross-sectioned intermediate crimp terminal formed by a pair of opposed barrels, or connected by twisting them together, or connected through a joint bus bar.

Shielded wire-grounding construction

A method is provided for fitting waterproof seals onto outer peripheries of end portions of electric wires. The method feeds seals along the axis line of the wire and into a seal cavity. A passage forming member forms a feeding passage to feed the seal into the seal cavity with a posture to receive the electric wire. The seal then is locked in the seal cavity. The wire then is moved along the axis line and into the seal.

Method for fitting waterproof seal members over electric wires

To effect accurate positioning and avoid interference of a terminal fitting with a wire guide member. By lifting and lowering guide members,formed with Y-shaped wire guide slots,F,,F, respectively, a wire W is brought to a terminal mounting position. The wire W and the terminal fitting mounted on the wire W will not interfere with the guide members,and the wire W can be more accurately positioned by the Y-shaped wire guide slots,F,,F.

Method for guiding a wire

A production unit for twisted cable is disclosed that facilitates the supply and removal of fixed length cables, thereby contributing to improved workability and automation compatibility. A plurality of pairs of relatively rotatable opposed cable clamps are provided with one cable clamp of each pair provided at one end of the fixed length cables and the other of each pair of cable clamps provided at the other end. Each pair of clamps is intermittently moved forward in a direction transverse to the opposed direction in which the cables extend. Each pair of cable clamps sequentially circulate, and the supply and removal operation of fixed length cables to and from the pairs of clamps are conducted respectively at predetermined positions by stations provided in the circulating route, by which it becomes possible to carry out the supply and removal of fixed length cables to continuously repeat the twisting operation.

To effect accurate positioning and avoid interference of a terminal fitting with a wire guide member. By lifting and lowering guide members 112, 113 formed with Y-shaped wire guide slots 112F, 113F, respectively, a wire W is brought to a terminal mounting position. The wire W and the terminal fitting mounted on the wire W will not interfere with the guide members 112, 113, and the wire W can be more accurately positioned by the Y-shaped wire guide slots 112F, 113F.
