A battery case and method of production of the same realizing smaller size, higher mountability, longer service life, and lower cost than in the past, that is, a battery case comprising a container body and a container cover, in which battery case, one or both of the container body and the container cover are made from a laminated steel sheet comprised of a plated steel sheet on which a film having a polyolefin-based resin as a main constituent is laminated, a joined part of the container body and the container cover has a welded part of the plated steel sheet, a melt bonded part of the film, and a gap part between the welded part and the melt bonded part, where a length of gap part/thickness of plated steel sheet ≤10.0 and a length of gap part/length of joined part <0.50, and at least part of the inside surface of the battery case is covered by the film, and a method of production of the same.

Battery case and method of production of same

To provide a metal-fiber reinforced resin material (FRP) composite having a good appearance even when used as an automobile outer panel and not deformed even after a coating and baking process. The metal-FRP composite of the invention has a laminated structure of three or more layers, having at least a metal layer, a fiber-reinforced resin material layer holding a reinforced fiber material in a layer constituted by a matrix resin, and a resin layer located between the metal layer and the fiber-reinforced resin material layer. The resin layer is a layer constituted by a room temperature curing adhesive or by a predetermined resin and the room temperature curing adhesive. An elastic modulus E of the resin layer is more than 0.1 MPa and 1000 MPa or less, and a thickness of the resin layer is 0.005 times or more and less than 7.500 times a thickness of the metal layer.

Metal-fiber reinforced resin material composite

A metal-fiber reinforced resin material composite body is provided with: a metal member; a fiber-reinforced resin material which is superposed on at least one surface of the metal member so as to be complexed with the metal member; and a bonding resin layer which is interposed between the metal member and the fiber-reinforced resin material. The fiber-reinforced resin material includes a matrix resin that contains 50 parts by mass or more of a phenoxy resin in 100 parts by mass of the resin component and a reinforcing fiber material that is contained in the matrix resin; the concentration of the phenoxy resin in the resin component of the bonding resin layer is lower than the concentration of the phenoxy resin in the resin component of the matrix resin; and the shear strength between the metal member and the fiber-reinforced resin material is 0.8 MPa or more.

Metal-fiber reinforced resin material composite body and method for producing metal-fiber reinforced resin material composite body

The invention has as its object the provision of a metal-fiber reinforced plastic composite able to more reliably prevent occurrence of an electrolytic corrosion action when forming a composite of a metal member and a fiber reinforced plastic layer comprising reinforcing fiber (carbon fiber) and a matrix resin. A metal-fiber reinforced plastic compositeaccording to the present invention comprises a metal member, an insulating layerarranged on at least part of a surface of the metal memberand comprising a first matrix resincontaining nonconductive fiber, and a CFRP layerarranged on at least part of a surface of the insulating layerand comprising a second matrix resincontaining carbon fiber, wherein, when viewing the surface of the metal memberfrom vertically above, the CFRP layeris positioned at the inside of a region where the insulating layeris present and an outer edge of the CFRP layerand an outer edge of the insulating layerare 0.2 mm or more apart. Due to this, it is possible to prevent electrolytic corrosion of the metal member.

A composite of metal and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic according to the present invention comprising a predetermined metal member, a resin layer positioned at a surface of at least part of the metal member and containing an inorganic filler having a thermal conductivity of 20 W/(m·K) or more, and carbon fiber reinforced plastic positioned on the resin layer and containing a predetermined matrix resin and carbon reinforcing fiber present in the matrix resin, the carbon reinforcing fiber being at least one of pitch-based carbon reinforcing fiber having a thermal conductivity of 180 to 900 W/(m·K) in range or PAN-based carbon reinforcing fiber having a thermal conductivity of 100 to 200 W/(m·K) in range, a content of the inorganic filler in the resin layer being 10 to 45 vol % in range with respect to a total volume of the resin layer, a number density of the inorganic filler present in a region of a width X μm from an interface of the resin layer and the carbon fiber reinforced plastic in a direction of the resin layer being 300/mmor more, where X μm is an average particle size of the inorganic filler.

What is provided is a new and improved metal-carbon fiber reinforced resin material composite in which the galvanic corrosion of dissimilar materials of a metal member is suppressed and electrodeposition coatability is excellent and a method for manufacturing the metal-carbon fiber reinforced resin material composite. A metal-carbon fiber reinforced resin material composite according to the present invention has a metal member, a resin coating layer disposed on at least a part of a surface of the metal member, and a carbon fiber reinforced resin material containing a matrix resin and a carbon fiber material present in the matrix resin, the resin coating layer contains any one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of metal particles, intermetallic compound particles, conductive oxide particles, and conductive non-oxide ceramic particles as conductive particles and further contains a binder resin, and the conductive particles have a powder resistivity at 23° C. to 27° C. of 7.0×10Ω·cm or less and contain one or more selected from the group consisting of Zn, Si, Zr, V, Cr, Mo, Mn, and W.

Metal-carbon fiber reinforced resin material composite and method for manufacturing metal-carbon fiber reinforced resin material composite

In a metal-fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) composite, the FRP and the metal member are bonded together, so internal stress (thermal stress) is generated due to the misfit of coefficients of thermal expansion of the metal member and the FRP. Not only does the binder layer peel off and the mechanical properties of the FRP cannot be obtained, but also defects in appearance (surface strain) occur. Therefore, the technical problem is to secure the mechanical properties as a composite while easing the internal stress and keeping surface strain from being generated. The metal-fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) composite according to the present invention solves the technical problem by sandwiching an FRP between two metal members and not having at least one of the metal members joined (bonded) with the FRP. Further, it is possible to arrange an intermediate member between the other metal member and the FRP and sandwich the FRP between the two metal members through the intermediate member.

[Problem] A metal-fiber reinforced resin material composite is provided which improves the shear strength between a metallic member and a fiber reinforced material by more strongly bonding the metallic member and the fiber reinforced resin member, and which is very light and has excellent workability while increasing strength. [Solution] This metal-fiber reinforced resin material composite is provided with a metallic member and with a fiber reinforced resin material that is stacked on at least one surface of the metallic member and combined with the metallic member, wherein the fiber reinforced resin material comprises a matrix resin containing a thermoplastic resin, a reinforcing fiber material included in the matrix resin, and a resin layer interposed between the reinforcing fiber material and the metallic member and comprising a resin of the same type as the matrix resin. The shear strength of the metallic member and the fiber reinforced resin material is greater than or equal to 0.8 MPa.

[Problem] To provide a metal/fiber-reinforced resin material composite in which a metal member and a fiber-reinforced resin material are firmly bonded, a light weight and excellent workability are obtained while the strength is enhanced, and the amount of the fiber-reinforced resin material used can be reduced. [Solution] A metal/fiber-reinforced resin material composite comprising a metal member, and a first fiber-reinforced resin material having a matrix resin and a reinforcement fiber material, the metal member and the first fiber-reinforced resin material being formed into a composite with an adhesive resin layer interposed therebetween, wherein the adhesive resin layer is obtained by solidifying or curing an adhesive resin composition containing at least 50 mass parts of a phenoxy resin (A), and the maximum load of the metal/fiber-reinforced resin material composite is greater than the total load of the maximum load of the metal member alone and the maximum load of the fiber-reinforced resin material alone (i.e., so as to display a 'super-law-of-mixture (or law of over-mixture)' that surpasses the law of mixture with respect to the tensile load).

The &#x3c;111&#x3e; polar density in a reverse pole figure of the diffusion alloy layer in a rolling direction is 2.0 to 6.0, and the aspect ratio of crystal in a surface of the diffusion alloy layer is 1.0 to 5.0.

A steel foil for a power storage device container includes a rolled steel foil, a nickel layer formed on a surface of the rolled steel foil, and a chromium-based surface treatment layer formed on a surface of the nickel layer. The nickel layer includes an upper layer portion which is in contact with the chromium-based surface treatment layer and contains Ni of 90 mass % or more among metal elements, and a lower layer portion which is in contact with the rolled steel foil and contains Ni of less than 90 mass % among the metal elements and Fe. &#x3c;111&#x3e; polar density in a reverse pole figure of the nickel layer in a rolling direction is 3.0 to 6.0. The nickel layer has a sub-boundary which is a boundary between two crystals having a relative orientation difference of 2&#xb0; to 5&#xb0;, and a large angle boundary which is a boundary between two crystals having the relative orientation difference of equal to or more than 15&#xb0;. The average value of a ratio L/Lbetween a boundary length Lwhich is the length of the sub-boundary, and a boundary length Lwhich is the length of the large angle boundary, is equal to or more than 1.0.

The present invention provides a resin-coated stainless steel foil capable of maintaining a strong adherence force to the film even in an electrolytic solution to exhibit good corrosion resistance and excellent in the workability, design property and piecing resistance, and a container and a secondary battery each using the resin-coated stainless steel foil.
