A needle-equipped outer cylinder includes: a needle tube; a joining member comprising: a needle tube accommodation hole that accommodates a proximal end side portion of the needle tube and penetrates the joining member from a distal end of the joining member to a proximal end of the joining member, and a joining outer peripheral portion provided on an outer peripheral portion of the needle tube accommodation hole; and an outer cylinder member comprising: a distal end joint that comprises an inner cavity that receives the joining outer peripheral portion of the joining member from a distal end side, and a projection located at a proximal end portion of the inner cavity and projecting into the inner cavity. The joining member comprises, at a proximal end portion of the joining member, an abutment portion that abuts the projection of the outer cylinder member.

Needle-equipped outer cylinder and method for manufacturing the same

A liquid medicine administration device includes a prefilled syringe and a gasket biasing member assembly. The biasing member assembly includes: a gasket pressing member configured to press a gasket; a flange attachment member attached to the prefilled syringe; a biasing member housed between the pressing member and the flange attachment member; and an operating member including an engagement holding portion. The pressing member includes an engagement portion to be engaged with the flange attachment member. When the engagement holding portion is located at an abutment position, deformation of a deformable portion is inhibited by abutment between the engagement holding portion and an abutment portion of a deformable portion, and engagement between the engagement portion and the attachment member body portion is held.

A protective device, for covering a needle tip of a needle of a medical instrument after puncturing of a puncture object by the needle, includes an inner cylinder, an outer cylinder, and a spring. The outer cylinder receives a cam structure of the inner cylinder and has a guide passage structure that includes one or more guide passages. The outer cylinder is provided with a lateral top part and a distal-end inclined edge part as resistance force generating parts for causing the inner cylinder to generate a resistance force at a puncture position or in the vicinity of the puncture position.

An injector includes a hollow needle; a main body unit including a needle holding portion that holds the needle; and a protection device configured to cover the needle before and after puncturing a puncture target with the needle. The seal cap includes a closed distal end portion, an open proximal end portion, a hollow portion including a barrel end storage portion configured to store a barrel end portion, and a puncture needle storage portion extending from the barrel end storage portion, an insertion allowing portion configured to receive a puncture needle tip of a puncture needle guided to the distal end of the puncture needle storage portion, and a projection portion formed on an inner surface of the barrel end storage portion. The projection portion has a top portion, a distal inclined portion, and a proximal inclined portion extending from the top portion toward the open proximal end portion. A non-stick surface for inhibiting sticking to a barrel end portion of the barrel is formed on an inner surface of the projection portion.

A protection device is attachable to a syringe that includes a needle. The protection device includes an inner cylinder having a cam structure with at least one protrusion; an outer cylinder that covers the inner cylinder and the needle; and a spring. The outer cylinder has a guiding path structure including at least one guiding path. The guiding path structure includes an elastic member allowing the cam structure to move; and an inner edge provided at a position in a peripheral wall of the outer cylinder different from the elastic member. The inner edge is configured to regulate movement of the cam structure by engaging with the cam structure.

An elastic cap detachably mountable to a barrel tip portion of a barrel so as to seal a tip of a needle hole includes a cylindrical receiving hole configured to receive at least part of a barrel tip portion and a puncture needle of a barrel. The receiving hole includes a first inner diameter portion having a smaller diameter than an outer diameter of the annular head; a stopper portion provided at an end of the first inner diameter portion; and a second inner diameter portion that is formed from the stopper portion to a bottom wall provided at an end of the second inner diameter portion, the second inner diameter portion having a smaller diameter than the first inner diameter portion.

A puncture needle assembly including: a puncture device which is provided with a needle tube having a sharp needlepoint at the tip thereof, and also with a protector which is supported relative to the needle tube so as to be movable in the axis direction of the needle tube between a first position at which the protector covers at least the needlepoint of the needle tube and a second position at which the protector exposes the needlepoint and is located further on the base end side than the first position; a cap which is removably mounted to the puncture device; a lock which can, when the protector is at the first position, maintain the position of the protector; and a lock release which, when the protector moves from the first position to the second position, enables the protector to move by releasing the locked state maintained by the lock. The cap has a prevention section which, in a cap-mounted state in which the cap is mounted on the puncture device with the protector located at the first position, prevents the lock from being unlocked.
