According to an embodiment, a power circuit supplying a voltage or a current from an output terminal to a load comprises a first circuit, a second circuit, an inductor, a fifth switching element, and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to bring the fifth switching element into conduction when switching control on at least two of the first to fourth switching elements is to be executed according to an output to the load connected via the output terminal, and bring the fifth switching element into non-conduction after a delay time passes from a time the first to fourth switching elements have been brought into non-conduction when the first to fourth switching elements are to be brought into non-conduction.

Power circuit, control method of power circuit, and self-driving device

A switching power supply apparatus of each embodiment includes: a switch circuit configured to supply a pulse output to a load; a drive signal control circuit configured to perform ON/OFF driving operation of the switch circuit according to a duty ratio of a PWM signal; an error detection amplifier configured to compare output voltage supplied to the load and reference voltage and generate an error detection signal; a comparator configured to generate the PWM signal by comparison between a slope signal that starts level change in a cycle of the PWM signal and the error detection signal and give the PWM signal to the drive signal control circuit; and a spread spectrum correction circuit configured to generate an offset corresponding to the fluctuation of the cycle of the PWM signal and add the generated offset to the slope signal or the error detection signal.

Switching power supply apparatus

The voltage regulator includes a resistor circuit that switches between a first state and a second state according to the comparison result signal. In the first state, a resistance between a second end of a first controlling transistor and a fixed potential is set at a first resistance, and a second end of a second controlling transistor and the fixed potential are disconnected from each other. In the second state, the second end of the first controlling transistor and the fixed potential are disconnected from each other, and a resistance between the second end of the second controlling transistor and the fixed potential is set at a second resistance.

Voltage regulator and power receiving apparatus

A rectifying apparatus (power receiving apparatus)is configured to receive electric power output from the power transmitting apparatus. The rectifying apparatusis mobile equipment, such as a battery, a smartphone incorporating a battery and a tablet PC, or equipment for a battery charger connected to the equipment. The rectifying apparatus (power receiving apparatus)may be any other equipment that receives electric power output from the associated power transmitting apparatus, including a rechargeable electric car, a household appliance and a product for underwater application.

Rectifying apparatus

According to one embodiment, a circuit includes an amplifier, first and second capacitors, a switch and a monitoring-comparator. The amplifier amplifies source and drain voltages to output first and second amplified-signals. The first and second capacitors are connected to the amplifier's first and second terminals. The first and second amplified-signals are outputted from the first and second terminals. The switch forms first and second loops when a switching-transistor is OFF. The switch supplies a common-reference-voltage to the first and second loops to store charge in the first and second capacitors. The switch ends the first and second loops based on a gate-signal when the switching-transistor is ON. The monitoring-comparator compares first and second inputs. The monitoring-comparator outputs a signal depending on a comparison result when the switching-transistor is ON. The first and second inputs are input through the first and second capacitors.

Current-direction detecting circuit and DC-DC converter

A boost DC/DC converter has a voltage dividing circuit connected between the output terminal and the ground, that outputs a divided voltage obtained by dividing the output voltage; a reference voltage generating circuit that generates a reference voltage based on the input voltage; an error amplifier that outputs a first signal corresponding to the difference between the divided voltage and the reference voltage; a feedforward circuit that detects the input voltage and outputs a second signal corresponding to a current inversely proportional to the input voltage; a multiplier that multiples the first signal by the second signal and outputs a third signal obtained; and a control circuit that outputs, based on the third signal, a control signal for controlling on/off of the switching transistor so that the divided voltage is equal to the reference voltage.
