This rotating electrical machine includes: a rotor formed from stacked steel sheets and fixed to a rotary shaft; a plurality of magnets arranged on the outer circumference of the rotor along the circumferential direction; and the same number of holders as the magnets, the holders being arranged between the magnets. The holder is press-fitted and fixed into the rotor by a press-fit portion extending in the radial direction of the rotary shaft. One circumferential-direction side of the magnet is positioned by the rotor, and another side is pressed in the circumferential direction by the holder. Both circumferential-direction ends of the magnet are pressed in the radial direction by the holders. Such a configuration provides a rotating electrical machine that enables a magnet to be accurately fixed to a rotor through simple work, at low cost.

A base portion of a magnet holder attached to a rotor core of a rotor has a press-fit pin press-fitted into a press-fit hole provided at an end surface of the rotor core. An arm portion of the magnet holder has a holder rib which protrudes inward in the radial direction of an output shaft and of which one end surface in the circumferential direction serves as a pressing surface, and a come-off prevention protrusion inserted into an insertion groove provided at an outer circumferential surface of the rotor core. Magnets are located between the rotor core and the magnet holders, one end surface in the circumferential direction of each magnet contacts with the pressing surface, and another end surface contacts with a core rib protruding from the rotor core.

An electric-rotating-machine rotor has a rotor core in which ring-shaped plate materials that are each magnetic materials are stacked in an axial direction and a shaft-press-fitted into an inner circumferential surface of the rotor core; the inner circumferential surface has a first press-fitting portion that is an axial-direction section into which the shaft is inserted and a second press-fitting portion that is an axial-direction section adjacent to the first press-fitting portion and into which the shaft is inserted with an interference larger than that of the first press-fitting portion, and the shaft is press-fitted into the inner circumferential surface of the rotor core from the first press-fitting portion side. As a result, the electric-rotating-machine rotor in which no gap is caused between the stacked plate materials can be realized at low cost. Moreover, it is made possible to produce the electric-rotating-machine rotor through simple processes and at low cost.

Electric-rotating-machine rotor and manufacturing method therefor

Provided is a rotor of a rotating electric machine, including: a rotor core; an end plate provided at an end portion of the rotor core in an axial direction of the rotor core; and a shaft passing through the rotor core and the end plate along the axial direction. The end plate includes: a flat plate portion that has an annular shape and is held in contact with the rotor core; and a warp portion that is formed more on an inner peripheral side of the end plate than the flat plate portion and is held in contact with the shaft. In a radial cross section of the end plate, the warp portion is warped so as to be apart from the rotor core as extending away from the flat plate portion.

In an IPM rotor, a first core sheet has a first sheet hole forming a part of an accommodation hole. The first sheet hole has an edge portion having a flat spring portion which is bent by a magnet through insertion of the magnet into the accommodation hole. A pair of recesses forming a clearance with respect to the magnet are formed at both side portions of the flat spring portion of the edge portion of the first sheet hole. A size of the clearance is set based on a relationship between a magnitude of a pressing force of the flat spring portion on the magnet and variation in pressing force.

IPM rotor

A rotor core of a rotating electrical machine has interpole bridges each disposed on an outer circumferential side with respect to a permanent magnet in a non-magnetic portion between the poles, and interpole diameter bridges each surrounded by two permanent magnets and an interpole bridge. The outer circumferential surface of each interpole bridge is formed by a first flat surface. Thus, a path of a magnetic flux passing through a magnetic gap is lengthened, so that a q-axis inductance is reduced. In addition, a width in a radial direction of each interpole bridge and a width in a circumferential direction of each interpole diameter bridge are constant, and each interpole bridge and each interpole diameter bridge are disposed so as to be perpendicular to each other to form a T shape. Thus, the concentration of stress during press-fitting of the permanent magnet into a magnet hole can be reduced.

A permanent magnet motor includes a stator, and a rotor having a rotor core disposed opposing an inner side of the stator across an air gap, a permanent magnet disposed in a circumferential direction of the rotor core, and a field pole of the rotor core in which the permanent magnet is disposed, wherein the field pole has a radius smaller than an arc centered on a shaft attached to an inner side of the rotor, a multiple of a slit whose longitudinal axial direction is a radial direction of the rotor core are formed in the field pole, and an interval between a first central line positioned between a multiple of the slit and a second central line positioned between a neighboring multiple of the slit is enlarged as the first central line and the second central line head toward an outer peripheral side of the rotor core.

Permanent magnet motor

A permanent magnet motor includes a rotor having a field pole of a rotor core, wherein the field pole has a radius smaller than an arc centered on a shaft of the rotor, a multiple of slits are formed in the field pole, the multiple of slits are disposed so that an interval between a first central line positioned between a multiple of the slits and a second central line positioned between a neighboring multiple of the slits increases as the first central line and the second central line head toward an outer peripheral side of the rotor core, and of the multiple of slits of the field pole, a first slit disposed in a central position of the field pole, and a second slit and a third slit disposed on either side of the first slit, are disposed within 20% of a circumferential direction width of the permanent magnet.

According to the present invention, provided is an IPM rotor of the present invention, which includes a plurality of core sheets, having hole portions configured to accommodate magnets and being laminated on one another, and the magnets are inserted in the hole portions. The IPM rotor includes a first core sheet having a spring plate portion provided to the hole portion, and a second core sheet having a recessed portion provided the hole portion. A protruding portion is provided to the hole portion of at least one of the plurality of the laminated core sheets. The protruding portion is provided to at least one of the hole portion of the first core sheet, the hole portion of the second core sheet, or a hole portion of a third core sheet to be further arranged.

It has been discovered that torque ripples can be reduced by adopting a shape in which: the width of a shoe connection formed in a stator of a permanent magnet motor is equal to or smaller than the thickness of each of core pieces constituting a stator core; and a relationship of 0.7&#x2264;Wm/(Tm&#xd7;Gm)&#x2264;3.3 is satisfied, where Wm is the length of the long side of a flat plate-shaped permanent magnet embedded in a rotor, Tm is the length of the short side of the permanent magnet, and Gm is the maximum distance from the outer circumference of the rotor to the permanent magnet.

The rotating electrical machine of the present invention includes: a magnet holder made of a non-magnetic material, which is formed by coupling a columnar portion for retaining the permanent magnet in a circumferential direction, and an annular portion for covering each axial side surface of the permanent magnet. The magnet holder includes, on an outer diameter side of both circumferential side surfaces of the columnar portion, engaging portions which engage with respective locking portions of the magnet cover, and includes, on an inner diameter side of each of both the circumferential side surfaces of the columnar portion, an extending portion extending along an inner peripheral surface of the magnet cover with a clearance (D) with respect to the inner peripheral surface of the magnet cover.
