A display panel includes a contact area which includes an upper conductive layer forming first electrodes of the organic EL elements, a lower conductive layer disposed below the upper conductive layer, a middle layer between the upper conductive layer and the lower conductive layer, and an insulating layer between the lower conductive layer and the middle layer. The middle layer includes a first area and a second area which are conductive and electrically connected to the upper conductive layer, and an insulating separating area which separates the first area and the second area. The lower conductive layer includes a first line which is electrically connected to the first area via a first contact hole, and a second line which is electrically connected to the second area via a second contact hole.

Display panel and display device

A display device includes a plurality of pixels arranged in rows and columns, a plurality of first power lines that extend in a pixel column direction and through which a power supply voltage is supplied to the pixels, and a plurality of second power lines that extend in the pixel column direction and through which an initialization voltage different from the power supply voltage is to the pixels. The number of first power lines is greater than the number of second power lines.

Active matrix display device for reducing unbalanced voltage drop

A method for driving a display device including a plurality of pixels arranged in rows and columns, each of the pixels including an organic EL device that emits light in accordance with supplied current, a driving transistor that supplies current to the organic EL device, and a storage capacitor connected between the gate of driving transistor and a source or drain thereof, includes causing the organic EL device to emit light by supplying current to the organic EL device; resetting charge of at least one of the storage capacitor and a parasitic capacitance of the organic EL device; and applying a reverse bias voltage between the gate and source of the driving transistor. The resetting is performed between the light emission and the reverse-bias application.

Pixel circuits each include a write transistor having a gate electrode connected to a write control line, one of a drain electrode and a source electrode connected to a data line for transmitting data voltage corresponding to luminance of the pixel circuit, and the other of the drain electrode and the source electrode connected to a gate electrode of a drive transistor. A compensation circuit includes a compensation transistor connected to a compensation signal line and the write control line. A compensation voltage generation circuit outputs compensation control voltage in accordance with a representative value of data voltage for the pixel circuits. A capacitance of the write control line caused by the compensation transistor and a capacitance of the write control line caused by the write transistors of the pixel circuits have mutually opposite voltage dependence with respect to the representative value of the data voltage for the pixel circuits.

Display device

A plurality of pixel circuits included in a display device each includes: a drive transistor; a capacitor connected to a gate electrode and a source electrode of the drive transistor; a light-emitting element which is driven by the drive transistor; a write transistor having a gate electrode connected to a write control line for transmitting a write signal, one of a drain electrode and a source electrode connected to a data line for transmitting a data voltage corresponding to luminance, and the other of the drain electrode and the source electrode connected to the gate electrode of the drive transistor; and a compensation transistor having a gate electrode connected to the data line, and at least one of a drain electrode and a source electrode connected to the write control line, the compensation transistor being of same conductivity type as the write transistor.

Display device for decreasing capacitance voltage dependence

A display device includes: a display unit which includes a plurality of pixels each including an organic EL element; and a control unit which adjust a value of a luminance signal to be supplied to a target pixel to be corrected, such that an actual luminance of the target pixel is equal to a reference luminance, the reference luminance being an actual luminance of a reference pixel obtained when the luminance signal to be supplied to the target pixel is supplied to the reference pixel. The reference pixel has predetermined attenuation characteristics for light emission amount.

Display device and method for driving display device

An active-matrix display device according to the present disclosure includes a plurality of pixels. Each of the pixels includes: a drive transistor disposed on a substrate; and an organic EL element that is caused by the drive transistor to emit light and includes an AM layer disposed above the substrate and a transparent electrode layer disposed above the AM layer. The active-matrix display device further includes: a source line that supplies data to the pixels; and a power supply line that supplies electric power to the pixels. The power supply line is shared by, among the plurality of pixels, two pixels that are adjacent to each other in a second direction that crosses a first direction in which the power supply line is extended. The source line and the AM layer are disposed not to overlap each other in a plan view of the substrate.

A cooling device for cooling a rack-type server of which a housing includes a plurality of electronic devices includes an interior cooling unit and an exterior cooling unit. The interior cooling unit includes a heat-receiving unit, a heat dissipation unit, an outward path pipe, and a return path pipe. The interior cooling unit allows working fluid to be circulated through the heat-receiving unit, the outward path pipe, the heat dissipation unit, the return path pipe, and the heat-receiving unit to thereby move the heat from the heat-receiving unit to the heat dissipation unit. The exterior cooling unit has a heat exchange unit abutted on the heat dissipation unit and allows, by a circulated cooling medium, the heat of the working fluid discharged from the heat dissipation unit to be dissipated to external air.

The present invention provides a cooling device for rack-type electronic equipment. The rack-type electronic equipment is provided with electronic circuit devices having different heating quantities inside an enclosure, and the cooling device has multiple heat pipes for cooling the rack-type electronic equipment. A condenser unit is provided on the upper surface of the enclosure, an evaporator is provided on the back surface of the enclosure, and each electronic circuit device having a different heating quantity is cooled by means of the heat pipes.

A display device having pixels in a matrix where the pixels compose at least two drive blocks each including at least two pixel rows, includes a first signal line and a second signal line disposed in a pixel column direction. The first signal line is disposed in one of the left and right sides of the pixels of the corresponding column, and the second signal line is disposed in the other of the sides. Each of the pixels includes an organic EL element and a current control unit. An organic electro-luminescence (EL) display device according to the present invention includes: a main substrate; a display section provided above the main substrate and including a red light-emitting layer, a green light-emitting layer, a blue light-emitting layer, and a bank; a blue color filter provided above the display section, which selectively transmits blue light and selectively absorbs green light and red light; and a red color filter provided above the display section, which selectively transmits the red light and selectively absorbs the blue light and the green light, wherein the blue color filter has openings each at a position corresponding to the red light-emitting layer or the green light-emitting layer, and the red color filter has openings each at a position corresponding to the green light-emitting layer or the blue light-emitting layer.
