The present disclosure provides a method for producing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that allows a nonaqueous electrolyte solution to permeate, reliably and in a short time, into a wound electrode body. The method for producing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes at least a winding step of forming a wound electrode body, a terminal connection step of connecting an electrode terminal to the wound electrode body, and a sealing step of accommodating the wound electrode body inside a battery case, and thereafter sealing the battery case. The production method disclosed herein includes, between the winding step and the terminal connection step, a permeation step of immersing a wound electrode body in a nonaqueous electrolyte solution, and repeatedly pressing and releasing the wound electrode body.

Method for producing nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery

An internal terminal is disposed inside a battery case and so as to be spaced apart from the battery case. An external terminal is disposed outside the battery case and spaced apart from the battery case, and the external terminal is connected to the internal terminal through a terminal mounting hole. An electrically insulating resin is disposed so as to fill a gap between the battery case and the internal terminal and a gap between the battery case and the external terminal, and the electrically insulating resin is joined to the battery case, to the internal terminal, and to the external terminal. At least one of the internal terminal and the external terminal includes a protruding portion protruding into the terminal mounting hole, and the internal terminal and the external terminal are joined to each other at a tip of the protruding portion.

Battery and method of manufacturing same

A secondary battery includes a flat wound electrode body in which an electrode sheet is wound, and an electrode terminal. The electrode sheet has a current collector, an electrode active material layer which is formed on a surface of the current collector, and a non-formation portion in which the electrode active material layer is not formed on the surface of the current collector. The wound electrode body has a first end portion in which a rounded portion is formed. A first slit is formed along a winding direction in the non-formation portion at the first end portion. A flat surface portion to which the electrode terminal is joined is provided in a portion positioned further toward opposite than the first slit from the electrode active material layer in a portion of the non-formation portion at the first end portion.

The secondary battery includes: a square battery case; and a wound electrode body accommodated in the battery case. The wound electrode body has a positive electrode sheet and a negative electrode sheet overlapping with each other to be wound about a winding axis to have a rectangular shape when seen from a winding axis direction. The wound electrode body has corner parts positioned at four corners of the wound electrode body when seen from the winding axis direction. The positive electrode sheet has a positive electrode collector and a positive electrode active material layer. The negative electrode sheet has a negative electrode collector and a negative electrode active material layer. Folding grooves are formed along the winding axis direction at portions of the positive electrode active material layer or portions of the negative electrode active material layer that are positioned at the corner parts.

A resonance coil includes plural unit coils where directions of magnetic fields which are formed by flowing of electric current are the same, in which the plural unit coils are arranged around a coil center line, and when the resonance coil is seen in a direction of the coil center line, the coil wire that forms the resonance coil is formed so as not to be overlapped.

A coil unit includes a second resonance coil that has a plurality of unit coils and performs at least one of transmission and reception of electric power to and from a first resonance coil spaced apart from the second resonance coil via electromagnetic resonance with the first resonance coil. The directions of magnetic fields formed by the unit coils are the same.
