An electric vehicle comprises an electric motor which generates a driving power for driving a wheel; and a battery case accommodating a plurality of batteries storing DC power to be supplied to the electric motor, in a battery space in an interior of the battery case, wherein the battery case has a shape which covers the electric motor above and forward.

An electric vehicle includes an electric motor which generates a driving power for driving a wheel, a battery storing DC power to be supplied to the electric motor, a battery case accommodating the battery in a battery space in an interior of the battery case, an inverter which converts the DC power supplied from the battery and supplies electric power to the electric motor, and an electric wire connecting the inverter to the electric motor. The electric wire runs through an internal space of the battery case, and may penetrate an upper surface of the battery case, protrude upward, and connect to an inverter placed on an upper portion of the battery case. The electric wire may run through a cooling passage in the internal space. The electric wire may be interposed between the electric motor and the inverter. The electric wire may run vertically through the internal space.

An electric vehicle comprises a vehicle body including a head pipe supporting a steering shaft, and a main frame extending rearward from the head pipe; an electric motor which generates driving power for driving a wheel; and a battery case accommodating a plurality of batteries storing DC power to be supplied to the electric motor, in a battery space in an interior of the battery case, wherein the battery case includes a casing body, and a reinforcement frame provided on the casing body to reinforce the main frame, and the reinforcement frame is fastened to the main frame by a fastening member.

An electric vehicle comprises an electric motor which generates driving power for driving a wheel; a battery case accommodating a battery storing DC power to be supplied to the electric motor, in a battery space in an interior of the battery case; and an inverter which converts the DC power supplied from the battery into AC power and supplies the AC power to the electric motor, wherein the inverter is placed above the battery to overlap with the battery case when viewed from above.

A straddle electric vehicle comprises a battery case for storing a battery unit; an inverter for converting DC power stored in the battery unit into AC power; a plurality of electric components connected to the battery unit and the inverter; and an electric motor for generating driving power for rotating a drive wheel, by the AC power generated by conversion in the inverter; wherein the plurality of electric components are stored in the battery case such that the electric components are placed above the battery unit.

Straddle electric vehicle

A straddle electric vehicle comprises a seat on which a rider is seated in a straddle state; right and left foot steps on which the rider puts feet, an electric motor for generating driving power for moving the straddle electric vehicle; a battery unit which is an electric power supply for activating the electric motor; and a battery case for storing the battery unit. The battery case is placed between the steering shaft and the seat in a forward or rearward direction and includes a seat vicinity portion which faces the seat in the forward or rearward direction. The seat vicinity portion is smaller in dimension in a rightward or leftward direction than a portion of the battery case which is other than the seat vicinity portion.

A pick-up style utility vehicle with an expandable cargo bed, including a front seat, a rear seat, a stationary bottom plate serving as a bottom face of the cargo bed, an expansion bottom plate for expanding the bottom face of the cargo bed, and a shared linkage mechanism for holding the rear seat at a use position where the rear seat is positioned on the upper side of the stationary bottom plate and a shunting position where the rear seat is shunted into a rear leg room provided in front of and below the stationary bottom plate. The shared linkage mechanism also holds the expansion bottom plate at a storage position where the expansion bottom plate is above the stationary bottom plate and an expansion position where the expansion bottom plate is positioned over the leg room.
