Managing access control lists (ACLs) across replicated data repositories can include selecting, from a first data processing system, a controlled object and an ACL object bound to the controlled object, wherein the first data processing system is associated with a first user identity space, and creating, using a processor, a replicated version of the controlled object within a second data processing system associated with a second user identity space, wherein the second user identity space is different from the first user identity space. Managing ACLs further includes, creating, using the processor, a replicated version of the ACL object within the second data processing system and substituting, within the replicated version of the ACL object, an identity from the first user identity space with a selected identity from the second user identity space.

Maintaining access control lists in non-identity-preserving replicated data repositories

The present invention improves application of a style to a view object when a document for a Web page to be edited is edited on a browser-type edit screen. First, a view object is detected from a managed document. Then, a direct style directly described in the managed document and an indirect style identified only by referring to an external document are collected. A browser-type edit screen is generated in which the direct and indirect styles are applied to each view object. The content of the managed document is synchronized with the edited content on the browser-type edit screen based on the editing operations on the browser-type edit screen.

Web page authoring

A method, computer program product, and computing system for monitoring, via a monitoring server, attributes of computer systems in communication with the monitoring server. A graphical user interface may display selectable attributes of the computer systems monitored by the monitoring server. The computer systems may be sorted in a tree based upon, at least in part, one or more selected attributes of the computer systems monitored by the monitoring server.

The present invention provides a Web page edit screen that allows an author to edit parent and child documents collectively while showing, in an appropriate manner, the content of the child document embedded in the parent document. Associated documents of a Web page to be edited are managed as managed documents individually. Document-by-document structure information is derived from the content of each managed document. Web page structure information is then assembled by connecting the document-by-document structure information based on embed-related code. Edit screen data is generated based on the content of the managed documents and the Web page structure information to generate a browser-type edit screen. The content of a relevant managed document is synchronized with the edited content on the edit screen. The edit screen data is matched with the edited content on the edit screen.

Editing parent and child web pages

Provides a Web page authoring apparatus for displaying information related to batch-editing documents when an author edits a plurality of documents which are connected in a parent-child relationship. A child document of each managed document is searched based on embed-related code in the managed document to collect parent-child relationship information, and tree diagram-type inter-document information is generated and represented in a tree diagram covering all the parent-child relationships.

Web page authoring apparatus, method, and program

A web page is rendered under the control of a client. A content server divides a webpage in multiple empty partitions. Each of the partitions has an associated pointer to data that can populate the partition. When data changes, the content server transmits pointers for all data for all of the partitions, including new pointers to new changed data. If an old pointer to old data is the same as a new pointer to the new data, the client ignores the new pointer. If the new pointer and the old pointer are different, then the client uses the new pointer to obtain the new data for that particular partition.

For this purpose, a method applied to a system having storage means includes receiving a selection of a plurality of service groups from one user; and computing an evaluation of combinations of services composed by selecting one service from among respective service groups of the plurality of service groups selected, based on evaluation information stored in the storage means.
