Method for producing ni-based alloy and ni-based alloy

Provided is a nickel material having excellent corrosion resistance and high strength, and a method for manufacturing the nickel material. A nickel material has a chemical composition consisting of, in mass %, C: 0.001 to 0.20%, Si: 0.15% or less, Mn: 0.50% or less, P: 0.030% or less, S: 0.010% or less, Cu: 0.10% or less, Mg: 0.15% or less, Ti: 0.005 to 1.0%, Nb: 0.040 to 1.0%, Fe: 0.40% or less, sol. Nickel material and method for manufacturing nickel material

There is provided an austenitic stainless steel having a high strength and an excellent hydrogen brittleness resistance and further having an excellent machinability. The austenitic stainless steel of the present embodiment has a chemical composition including: in mass %, C: 0.10% or less; Si: 1.0% or less; Mn: 2.1 to 6.0%; P: 0.045% or less; S: 0.1% or less; Ni: 8.0 to 16.0%; Cr: 15.0 to 30.0%; Mo: 1.0 to 5.0%; N: 0.05 to 0.45%; Nb: 0 to 0.50%; and V: 0 to 0.50%, with the balance being Fe and impurities, and satisfying Formula (1). Austenitic stainless steel and method for producing the same

There is provided an austenitic stainless steel for high-pressure hydrogen gas consisting, by mass percent, of C: 0.10% or less, Si: 1.0% or less, Mn: 3% or more to less than 7%, Cr: 15 to 30%, Ni: 10% or more to less than 17%, Al: 0.10% or less, N: 0.10 to 0.50%, and at least one kind of V: 0.01 to 1.0% and Nb: 0.01 to 0.50%, the balance being Fe and impurities, wherein in the impurities, the P content is 0.050% or less and the S content is 0.050% or less, the tensile strength is 800 MPa or higher, the grain size number (ASTM E112) is No. 8 or higher, and alloy carbo-nitrides having a maximum diameter of 50 to 1000 nm are contained in the number of 0.4/&#x3bc;mor larger in cross section observation.

High-strength austenitic stainless steel for high-pressure hydrogen gas

A Ni based alloy material consists of by mass percent, C&#x2266;0.03%, Si: 0.01 to 0.5%, Mn: 0.01 to 1.0%, P&#x2266;0.03%, S&#x2266;0.01%, Cr: not less than 20% to less than 30%, Ni: more than 40% to not more than 50%, Cu: more than 2.0% to not more than 5.0%, Mo: 4.0 to 10%, Al: 0.005 to 0.5%, W: 0.1 to 10%, N: more than 0.10% to not more than 0.35%, optionally one or more elements selected from Ca&#x2266;0.01% and Mg&#x2266;0.01%, with the balance being Fe and impurities, and the formula of '0.5Cu+Mo&#x2267;6.5' is satisfied. The material has a surface hardness of a Vickers hardness of not less than 350 at 500&#xb0; C., a corrosion resistance equivalent to that of Ni based alloys having high Mo contents, and excellent erosion resistance in a severe environment.

Nickel based alloy material

A Ni based alloy, which consists of by mass percent, C&#x2266;0.03%, Si: 0.01 to 0.5%, Mn: 0.01 to 1.0%, P&#x2266;0.03%, S&#x2266;0.01%, Cr: not less than 20% to less than 30%, Ni: more than 40% to not more than 60%, Cu: more than 2% to not more than 5.0%, Mo: 4.0 to 10%, Al: 0.005 to 0.5% and N: more than 0.02% to not more than 0.3%, with the balance being Fe and impurities, and the expression of '0.5 Cu+Mo&#x2267;6.5' is satisfied, has excellent corrosion resistance equivalent to that of Ni based alloys having high Mo contents, such as Hastelloy C22 and Hastelloy C276, in severe corrosive environments containing reducing acids, such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, together with excellent workability. Therefore, it can be suitably used as a low-cost material for various kinds of structural members.
