Provided is a suspension subframe structure that can activate a load path using an extension frame in an impact while avoiding increase in vehicle weight and also enables a suspension subframe to disengage from a vehicle body when an impact load is too large to be absorbed by the extension frame alone. The suspension subframe structure of the present invention includes a suspension subframethat supports a suspension memberfor a front wheel. The suspension subframeincludes: a bodythat transmits an impact load input from a vehicle front side toward a vehicle rear side; a fixed portiondisposed near the bodyand fixed to a vehicle body; and a connection portionconnecting the fixed portionto the body. Suspension subframe structure

Coolant flowing from a compressor passes through a heat exchanger and opening-degree adjustable type of expansion valves for heating, and an external heat exchanger. The coolant passing through the external heat exchanger is capable of passing through an expansion valve and a heat exchanger for cooling, and an expansion valve and a heat exchanger for cooling a battery. A grille shutter to change an introduction state of traveling air is provided in front of the external heat exchanger. When pressure of the coolant (particularly, pressure of the coolant at a timing after the coolant passes through the external heat exchanger) is a specified pressure or lower, the grille shutter is closed, whereby the heat-exchange performance of the external heat exchanger is lowered.

A gas shielded arc welding method includes welding a steel sheet with a tensile strength of 780 MPa or more using a shielding gas containing Ar in an amount of 92 vol. % to 99.5 vol. %. Gas shielded arc welding method

A subframe structure includes a subframe disposed below a vehicle body structure of a vehicle, and an extension frame extending forward from the subframe and configured to absorb an impact load from forward of a vehicle body. The subframe has a body part extending in a vehicle front-and-rear direction and a mount support part supporting a power train through a mount. The body part is fixed to the vehicle body structure through the mount support part.

Subframe structure

A suspension sub frame structure comprises a suspension sub frame provided to extend in a vehicle longitudinal direction and supporting a suspension link, an extension frame provided to extend forwardly from a front end of the suspension sub frame and having lower rigidity against a load applied in the vehicle longitudinal direction than the suspension sub frame, and a cross member provided to extend in a vehicle width direction on an inward side, in the vehicle width direction, of the both frames, wherein the cross member is joined to the both frames at a joint area which is continuous in the vehicle longitudinal direction.

Suspension sub frame structure

A gas-shielded arc welding method includes feeding a consumable electrode via a welding torch and performing welding while flowing a shielding gas. The welding torch includes a nozzle. An inner diameter of the nozzle is 15 mm or more. A nozzle-base material distance between a tip of the nozzle and a material to be welded is 22 mm or less. A ratio expressed by (the inner diameter of the nozzle/the nozzle-base material distance) is 0.7 or more and 1.9 or less.

Gas-shielded arc welding method

A rear subframe structure is provided with a rear subframe configured such that a front cross member, a rear cross member, a pair of left and right upper side members extending in a vehicle front-rear direction, and a pair of left and right lower side members extending in the vehicle front-rear direction are connected; and a vehicle-body mounting portion formed on each of both ends of the front cross member in the vehicle width direction, and on each of rear ends of the upper side members. The rear subframe further includes a lower-arm support portion formed on a lower lateral portion of the rear cross member, and a stabilizer support member for supporting a stabilizer. The rear cross member connects the upper side members and the lower side members in an up-down direction. The rear cross member includes an upper-surface rear-side projection portion projecting rearwardly. The stabilizer support member is mounted between the lower-arm support portion and the upper-surface rear-side projection portion of the rear cross member.

Rear subframe structure

A tension rod supporting part () is provided at a sub-frame front structure () of a front part of a front sub-frame (); the side member () is disposed upward in one side and extended rearward from the tension rod supporting part (); a rack arrangement step (A) opened downward for arranging a steering rack () is formed behind the tension rod supporting portion () and under the side member (); and a stabilizer support part () is provided in the rack arrangement step (A).

Front sub-frame structure

A rear subframe structure is provided with a rear subframe configured such that a front cross member, a rear cross member, a pair of left and right upper side members, and a pair of left and right lower side members are connected; and a vehicle-body mounting portion formed on each of both ends of the front cross member, and on each of rear ends of the upper side members. The rear subframe further includes a pillar portion formed between the upper side member and the lower side member; a first-arm support portion formed on the pillar portion to support a first arm; a second-arm support portion formed on the pillar portion to support a second arm; and an arm support bracket to support the second-arm support portion from a rear side.

In the front part of the front sub-frame (), provided are a sub-crash can attachment part () and a tension rod supporting part (); a front vehicle body attachment part () is provided between the two parts; the sus-cross member () is provided in the front vehicle body attachment part () and the tension rod supporting part (); the front-side vehicle body attaching portion () includes a sub crash can load transmitting member (); and the upper face portion () of the front vehicle body attachment part () and the partition wall () of the sub-crash can load transferring member () are spaced apart in the vertical direction and extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.

A rear subframe structure is provided with a rear subframe including a front cross member, and a pair of left and right side members connected to the front cross member, and further including a vehicle-body mounting portion formed on both ends of the front cross member. The rear subframe includes a tunnel portion formed in a middle of a lower portion of the front cross member, and a brace extending in the vehicle width direction, and including a tunnel-portion mounting portion on left and right ends thereof. The brace includes a middle downwardly bulging portion bulging downwardly, and an upwardly bulging portion continued outwardly of the middle downwardly bulging portion and bulging upwardly. An inflection point between the middle downwardly bulging portion and the upwardly bulging portion is substantially located on an imaginary line linearly connecting the left and right tunnel-portion mounting portions in the vehicle width direction.

A rear subframe structure is provided with a rear subframe configured such that a front cross member, a rear cross member, a pair of left and right upper side members, and a pair of left and right lower side members are connected; and a vehicle-body mounting portion formed on each of both ends of the front cross member, and on each of rear ends of the upper side members. The rear subframe further includes a vertical-wall-shaped pillar portion held and fixed between a lateral portion of the front cross member in the vehicle width direction and the upper side member, and extending in the vehicle width direction. A lower portion of the pillar portion is connected to the lower side member, an upper-arm support portion is formed on an upper portion of the pillar portion, and a lower-arm support portion is formed on a lower portion of the pillar portion.

A rear subframe structure is provided with a rear subframe configured such that a front cross member, a rear cross member, a pair of left and right upper side members, and a pair of left and right lower side members are connected; and a vehicle-body mounting portion formed. The rear subframe further includes a lower-arm support portion. The front cross member has a closed section, and a front portion of the closed section extends downwardly by forward and downward inclination of a left lateral portion and a right lateral portion of the front cross member. The lower-arm support portion is formed on a lower rear portion of the left lateral portion and the right lateral portion of the front cross member. The upper side member is connected to an upper rear portion of the left lateral portion and the right lateral portion of the front cross member.

Disclosed is a welded structural member production method comprises: a first preparation step of preparing a cross-sectionally hat-shaped first metal workpiece which has a first base wall, a pair of first standing walls and a pair of flanges; a second preparation step of preparing a cross-sectionally U-shaped second metal workpiece which has a second base wall, and a pair of second standing walls; a positioning step of positioning the first metal workpiece and the metal workpiece in such a manner that each of two pairs of distal edges of the second standing walls and inner edge regions of the flanges are butted against each other; and a joining step of externally welding a butted region of each of the pairs of the distal edges of the second standing walls and the inner edge regions of the flanges to thereby join the first and second metal workpieces together.
