A headphone set has at least one speaker unit and a housing that encloses the speaker unit. The housing has an elastic protruding portion having a cavity therein. A sound-emitting portion is formed as protruding from a vibrating zone of the speaker unit.

Headphone set and method of producing the same

The present invention provides a headphone with cord winder devices that are capable of winding up a bridging cord between one (left) headphone assembly and the other (right) headphone assembly. The headphone comprises one (left) headphone assembly accommodating, in one (left) headphone housing corresponding to one of the left and right ear, a speaker and a cord winder device for winding up an input cord for connecting to audio-video equipment; and the other (right) headphone assembly accommodating, in the other (right) headphone housing corresponding to the other of the left and right ear, a speaker and a cord winder device for winding up a bridging cord for bridging the left headphone housing and the right headphone housing.

Control unit for a copying machine including automatic shutdown

A color copying machine contains a scanning unit driven by a motor for applying a color scanning beam onto a manuscript, a photoconductive drum operable to rotate for being exposed to the scanning beam to form on a peripheral surface thereof a latent image of the manuscript. The color copying machine further contains a device for applying a toner to the latent image to form a toner image, and a transfer drum for holding a record sheet onto which the toner image on the photoconductive drum is transferred. A main controller calculates data representative of a speed of the motor in accordance with a magnification rate of the copy image to be formed on the record sheet to the image on the manuscript, and outputs a pulse signal whose pulse rate is proportional to the calculated speed data. The main controller outputs the pulse signal to a controller which drives the motor at a speed determined by the pulse rate of the pulse signal. Thus, the speed of the scanning unit is determined in accordance with the magnification rate.

Control apparatus for a color copying machine

A color copying machine includes scanning device for applying illumination onto a color original to effect a scanning operation. A color separator includes a plurality of optical filters of different colors, each of the filters allowing a predetermined light component of the illumination to pass therethrough during each scanning operation so as to apply it onto a photoconductive drum charged uniformly to form an electrostatic image thereon. Color toner is applied to each of the electrostatic images during the rotation of the photoconductive drum. The toner image on the photoconductive drum is transferred to a record sheet on a transfer drum. Two sensors are provided for sensing the initiation of each scanning operation and the position of the record sheet on the transfer drum. A control circuit detects, in response to the outputs of the two sensors, start and end timings of the transferring of each of the toner images onto the record sheet. The control circuit controls the transfer drum to rotate at the same speed as the photoconductive drum during the transfer of each toner image to said record sheet, and controls the transfer drum to rotate, during a time interval between the two consecutive transfer operations, at such a speed that a leading edge of the record sheet on the transfer drum is brought into agreement with a leading edge of each toner image on the photoconductive drum.
