It is an object to provide a technique capable of enhancing evenness of a planar light. A planar light source device includes a light source, a holding substrate, a light distribution control element having a light incident surface and a light outputting surface, a reflection part reflecting the light which has been reflected in an inner side of the light distribution control element toward the side of the display surface, and a case which houses the light source, the holding substrate, the light distribution control element, and the reflection part. A part opposite to the side of the display surface, in relation to at least the light distribution control element in a region between the light distribution control element and an inner wall of the case, is covered by the reflection part.

Planar light source device and liquid crystal display device

A planar light source apparatus according to the present invention includes a light source, a holding substrate that holds the light source at a main surface, and a light-distribution control element that is disposed at the main surface of the holding substrate so as to cover the light source, and changes light distribution of light rays emitted from the light source. The light-distribution control element includes a diffusion part that is provided at at least at one surface of a plurality of surfaces that structure the outer shape of the light-distribution control element. The at least one surface where the diffusion part is provided is a surface different from an installation surface capable of abutting on the main surface of the holding substrate.

A surface light source device includes: a plurality of LEDs emitting a light; a substrate having the plurality of LEDs mounted thereon; a light distribution control element arranged on the substrate, and distributing the light emitted from the plurality of LEDs; a reflection sheet reflecting a part of the light distributed by the light distribution control element to a display surface side of the surface light source device; a housing accommodating the plurality of LEDs, the substrate, the light distribution control element, and the reflection sheet; and a retaining member retaining the light distribution control element and the substrate under a state in which the retaining member is in contact with a surface of the light distribution control element that is opposite to a surface of the light distribution control element in contact with the substrate.

Surface light source device and liquid crystal display device

A surface light source device includes a laser beam source, a laser beam guide rod for converting a laser beam into first linear light, an LED light source, an LED light guide rod for converting LED light into second linear light extended in the same direction as the first linear light, a reflecting bar for reflecting the first linear light and the second linear light, and a light reflecting portion formed in a box shape and having an opening portion with an emission side opened and a reflecting surface on an inside of the box shape. The first linear light and the second linear light are reflected by the reflecting bar and the reflecting surface, and are emitted from the opening portion.

A rack and pinion gear mechanism includes a rack forming member having a rack; a pinion gear which engages releasably with the rack of rack forming member; and an elastic member which contacts with one portion of the rack forming member and deformed by an elastic deformation corresponding to a displacement of the rack forming member by a confliction of tooth points, the one portion is located opposite side to a tooth of the rack that contacts firstly with a tooth of the pinion gear and the gear mechanism further includes a positioning means to fix the elastic member in a cantilever manner to define a positioning of a free end of the elastic member in height.

Rack-and-pinion gear mechanism

A disk device for reproducing information includes a clamper that is used to clamp exchangeable disks. The disk device has a movement regulating member which is engaged with a sliding hole made on a base. A clamper base is engaged with a cam hole made on the movement regulating member to swing around a swinging axis on the base as a center. A clamper arm is supported on the clamper base to hold the clamper which clamps the disk. A positioning member is arranged on the base to abut with the clamper base when the clamper base swings. An energizing member urges the movement regulating member along a direction substantially perpendicular to the sliding direction of the movement regulating member.

Disk device

A disk device including a movable portion which supports pivotally and enably to swing a feed screw axis, a thread motor to drive a small gear and the like which engage with a gear interlocked in an end portion of the feed screw axis thereby to rotate the feed screw axis, and a control screw to perform a height control of the movable portion.

Disc drive

A disk device in which a precut portion of sub cam plate and a protruding portion of locking plate are made in a slanted shape and at the same time the sub cam plate is rotated by a pressure when the protruding portion is inserted into the precut portion.

By a disk device including: a reproducing base which is supported pivotally and enably to swing on a base, and on which a turntable is set; a supporting member which is supported pivotally and enably to swing on the base and which supports the reproducing base in a predetermined position; a clamper which is supported pivotally and enably to swing on the base and which opposes to the turntable to pinch and hold a disk; and a movement regulating member which regulates swing movements of the supporting member and the clamper, supporting by the supporting member in relation to the reproducing base is made sure to prevent deformation of the reproducing base by a clamping force of the clamper.

Disc device

A disc player for containing a plurality of discs and playing back a disc selected therefrom, comprises a disc holding/separating mechanism which holds the plurality of discs concentrically and which separates the selected disc from the remaining discs to form a first space below the selected disc; a turntable; an optical pickup; a turntable support mechanism which supports the turntable and which moves between an outside of the discs held by the disc holding/separating mechanism and the first space; a disc carrier mechanism which holds and conveys the selected disc between the disc holding/separating mechanism and the turntable; a clamper which secures the selected disc to the turntable; a clamper support mechanism which supports the clamper and which moves between an outside of the discs held by the disc holding/separating mechanism and a second space formed above the selected disc; and a control mechanism which controls motions of the turntable support mechanism and the clamper support mechanism.

Disc player containing discs to be played and method of controlling the same

A disc player includes a disc holding/separating mechanism which holds the plurality of discs concentrically and which separates the selected disc from the remaining discs; a turntable; a pickup; a playback base which supports the turntable and which moves toward and away from the disc holding/separating mechanism; a clamper which secures the selected disc to the turntable; a damper arm which supports the clamper and which moves toward and away from the disc holding/separating mechanism; a translating mechanism which supports the playback base and the clamper arm and which moves toward and away from the disc holding/separating mechanism; and a control mechanism which controls motions of the playback base, the clamper arm and the translating mechanism in such a way that, when the selected disc is put on the turntable by the disc holding/separating mechanism, the turntable is placed at a first position, which is located on a central axis of the plurality of discs held by the disc holding/separating mechanism, and when the pickup reads out data from the selected disc, the turntable is placed at a second position, which is located at a predetermined distance from the first position.

Disc player and method of controlling the same

A drive-force transmitting mechanism includes a drive disk and a driven disk that are rotatable about an axis. The driven disk has two diametrically opposing engagement portions. The drive disk has two levers pivotally mounted thereon, each lever having a clutch pin formed thereon. The two disks are disposed so that the levers are sandwiched between the two disks. The levers are operatively coupled through a coupling member such that rotation of one lever is transmitted to the other. A cam member has a groove that guides a pin member of one lever such that when the drive disk rotates through a first angle, the pins move toward the axis to engage the engagement portions to transmit rotation of the drive disk to the driven disk, and when the drive disk rotates through another angle, the pins move away from the axis to disengage from the engagement portions.

Drive force-transmitting mechanism

A compatible disk device includes: a base; a first turntable disposed on the base for transmitting a rotational force to a first disk; a second turntable for transmitting a rotational force to a second disk; a retaining arm for retaining the second turntable with a play; a support shaft disposed on the base in a position separated from either the first disk supported by the first turntable or the second disk supported by the second turntable; and a sub-base attached pivotally to the support shaft, the sub-base supporting the retaining arm to be rotatable in a plane parallel to a disk surface of the first disk or the second disk and to be elevated in an axial direction of the support shaft.

A disk device is includes first support shaft which supports a retaining arm, retaining a second turntable, to reciprocate vertically and a second support arm which supports the retaining arm to rotate and refuge horizontally so that the second turntable which supports a second disk which is not stored in a cartridge and which transmits a rotational force to a second disk can be loaded and separated from a first turntable which supports a first disk and which transmits a rotational force to a first disk.
