A rotor core for a rotating electrical machine includes a laminated body that has insertion holes, a permanent magnet accommodated inside each of the insertion holes and fixed to the laminated body, and an end plate arranged at an end of the laminated body in the rotation axis direction. The laminated body includes annular flat metal plates that are stacked. A circumferential edge of the end plate is welded and fixed to circumferential edges of the metal plates such that the end plate is arranged at an end of the laminated body in the rotation axis direction to close openings of the insertion holes. A through-hole extends through an outer edge portion of at least one of an outermost metal plate of the laminated body or the end plate.

Rotor core for rotating electrical machine

A method for manufacturing a core of a rotating electric machine includes arranging a permanent magnet in a receptacle of a core body and injecting an anchoring material into a gap between a wall surface of the receptacle and an outer surface of the permanent magnet. A liquid crystal polymer, more specifically, liquid crystal polyester is used as the anchoring material. The liquid crystal polymer is injected at a velocity of 100 to 300 millimeters per second.

Method for manufacturing core of rotating electric machine

A rotor core is manufactured by forming thin plate-like core pieces including holes, forming a lamination body including insertion holes by laminating the core pieces, and inserting and embedding a permanent magnet in each of the insertion holes of the lamination body. The holes of each core piece include one or more first holes, in each of which a position determining portion for determining the position of the permanent magnet is formed, and one or more second holes, in which a position determining portion is not formed. Each insertion hole of the lamination body is formed by overlapping first holes of some of the core pieces and second holes of the remaining core pieces.

Method for manufacturing rotor core

A core has accommodating slots each accommodating a permanent magnet. A fixing agent is injected into the space between the inner surface of each accommodating slot and the outer surface of the associated permanent magnet. A liquid-crystal polymer is used as the fixing agent. More specifically, liquid-crystal polyester is used.
