A data access control apparatus has a management information table in which identification information of a storage node specified as one to which transmission of a reference request is inhibited and a reference condition are associated with each other. A relay apparatus executes a reallocation process so as to transfer data received from an information processing apparatus allocated to the relay apparatus to a destination apparatus. The reallocation process includes the following operations. The relay apparatus determines reallocatability of the information processing apparatus on the basis of a status of receiving transfer data from the information processing apparatus. The reallocatability represents whether the information processing apparatus is reallocatable to another apparatus. The relay apparatus stores reallocatability information indicating the determined reallocatability in a storage unit. The relay apparatus determines whether to reallocate the information processing apparatus on the basis of the reallocatability information stored in the storage unit. Each presentity provides the presence server with its presence information targeted to the group identifier. A relay apparatus for transferring message data received from a client to one of a plurality of servers includes a status management data storage, a transfer rule handling section, and an acknowledgment transmitting section. The status management data storage holds data of an acknowledgment necessity table. The acknowledgment necessity table includes first identification information of a first apparatus to which the relay apparatus acknowledges when the relay apparatus has received first transfer rule notification data from the first apparatus. One system distributes a request for providing a service using a first communication protocol, from a terminal device to a server selected from among a plurality of servers by a server load balancer in response to the request. A corresponding relation between identification information for identifying a session generated in a distributed server and the server that has generated the session corresponding to the identification information is set in the server load balancer by the service of a second communication protocol as uniqueness assurance information for uniqueness assurance. Thus, when the provision of a service is requested using a second communication protocol by the terminal device, the server load balancer refers to the set uniqueness assurance information and selects the server for providing the service from among the plurality of servers.
