Provided is an antenna that can facilitate favorable communications even if no metal body is located near the antenna and even if the antenna is located within a metal body. An antenna is characterized in that the antenna comprises: a core () having a plane; a coil winding part (area B) of the plane about which a coil is wound; and no-coil winding parts (areas A, C) of the plane about which no coil is wound, wherein the coil winding part is sandwiched between the no-coil winding parts in the axial direction of the coil on the plane, and the width of the plane in the axial direction of the coil is equal to or greater than the width of the plane in the winding direction of the coil.

The present invention is concerned with a transmitting/receiving antenna, which includes a dielectric board, a driven loop antenna provided to the dielectric board, transmit processing portion connection terminals connected to the driven loop antenna, a transmitting/receiving loop antenna arranged in close vicinity to the driven loop antenna in a non-contact state, a resonance capacitor connected to both ends of the transmitting/receiving loop antenna, and receive processing portion connection terminals connected to the transmitting/receiving loop antenna. The driven loop antenna is constructed to have a loop wound in a single turn, and the transmitting/receiving loop antenna is constructed to have a loop wound in plural turns. According to this configuration, a wider frequency band of the frequency characteristic and a reduction of the power consumption can be achieved.

For cooking data provided via a communication network, use track records of the cooking data corresponding with their actual use status are accurately managed. The object of the invention is to provide a water supply controlling method of a high-frequency heating apparatus and the high-frequency heating apparatus wherein water supplied to a heating chamber as steam is controlled in the quantity and the quality and power can be saved. To achieve the object, it is judged whether there is the required quantity of water supplied as steam in cooking in a water tank or not and in case it is judged that the water is short, request for replacing water in the water tank is annunciated. Elapsed time since water in the water tank was last replaced is monitored and in case the elapsed time exceeds predetermined time, request for replacing the water is annunciated.

High-frequency heating apparatus with steam generating function and water supply controlling method therefor

A microwave oven including a defrosting step in which a target which must be heated is irradiated with microwaves which are irregular in terms of time at least when the phase of water in the target is shifted from a solid body to liquid. The microwave oven includes a magnetron for generating microwaves for dielectrically heating a target which must be heated; and a waveguide through which microwaves generated by the magnetron are propagated into a heating chamber, wherein a defrosting process is performed in such a manner that microwaves which are irregular in terms of time and which are in a chaos state are propagated through the waveguide at least when the phase of water in the target is shifted from a solid body to liquid.

Microwave oven

A heating apparatus such as a microwave oven in which thermal energy of high-temperature vapor generated by heating an object is detected by a pyroelectric element and a resulting detection signal is used to control (stop) a heat source such as a microwave source, etc. Among AC voltages generated by the pyroelectric element due to heat exchange of the pyroelectric element, a voltage of a polarity generated at the time of heat discharge (temperature decrease) of the pyroelectric element is selected through a circuit means. A voltage generated by heat exchange between air moving slowly in a heating chamber and the pyroelectric element caused by the rotation of a turntable or the like is eliminated by another circuit means. A control section controls the operation of the heat source by deciding an output signal of the pyroelectric element by comparing it with a detection level determined in accordance with a noise level for a predetermined length of time after the start of the heating operation. Erroneous detection is thus prevented which otherwise might be caused by a noise voltage generated in the pyroelectric element by the thermal energy of a hot air staying in the heating chamber after the energization of the heat source or second heat source.
