A constant-velocity joint includes an outer ring having an annular space therein and an opening at one axial end thereof. The annular space is defined by a radially outer wall and a radially inner wall of the outer ring. At least one of the radially outer wall and the radially inner wall has three axially extending track grooves circumferentially spaced apart from each other by 120 degrees. A cage is inserted in the annular space. The cage has pockets at positions corresponding to the track grooves, respectively. A ball is received in each of the pockets so as to roll along one of the track grooves. A pair of diametrically opposed protrusions is formed at radially inner and outer open ends of the pockets of the cage to prevent the balls from coming out of the pockets of the cage.

Constant-velocity joint and image-forming device

A constant-velocity joint includes an outer ring formed with a bore defined by six flat surfaces parallel to its axis, and a trunnion member received in the bore of the outer ring. The trunnion member has an outer periphery formed with three first spherical surfaces circumferentially spaced apart from each other and three second spherical surfaces circumferentially spaced apart from each other and each disposed between adjacent first spherical surfaces. Each first spherical surface is in contact with one of the flat surfaces at a point offset from the circumferential center of the flat surface in one circumferential direction. Each second spherical surface is in contact with another flat surface at a point offset from the circumferential center of the flat surface in the other circumferential direction. At least one of the outer ring and the trunnion member is made of a synthetic resin.

Constant-velocity joint and image forming device

A plate shaped peeling member, which can be used for a long term, is manufactured by a method which is superior in productivity and is capable of manufacturing plate-shaped peeling members of consistent quality. The plate-shaped peeling member peels paper from a roller or a belt of an electrophotographic apparatus, by means of a leading edge of a thin metal plate that is in contact with or is adjacent to the roller or the belt. In the plate-shaped peeling member, an adhesive agent-applied resin sheet is adhered to the thin metal plate in a longitudinal direction thereof without pulling both end portions of the adhesive agent-applied resin sheet in a longitudinal direction thereof, with metal exposed at both end surfaces of the thin metal plate in the longitudinal direction thereof.

Plate-shaped peeling member and method and apparatus of manufacturing same

A constant-velocity joint includes an outer ring formed with an annular space therein having an opening at one end thereof. The annular space is defined by a radially outer wall and a radially inner wall. One of the radially inner and outer walls is formed with three axially extending track grooves circumferentially spaced apart from each other by 120 degrees. A cage is inserted in the annular space with one end thereof protruding from the opening of the annular space. A second shaft is provided on the one end of the cage. Balls are retained by the cage and adapted to roll in the track grooves. At least one of the outer ring and the cage is formed of a synthetic resin.

A tripod type constant-velocity joint includes an outer ring formed with three axially extending track grooves circumferentially spaced apart from each other by 120 degrees. Each track groove has a pair of opposed, axially extending side faces. A tripod member is inserted in the outer ring. The tripod member includes three protrusions each slidably received in one of the track grooves and having a pair of circumferentially curved side faces each opposing one of the pair of side faces of each track groove. Torque is thus transmitted between the outer ring and the tripod member. At least the protrusions of the tripod member are formed of a synthetic resin.

Tripod type constant-velocity joint and image-forming device

A peeling member for peeling a paper from a various types of rollers installed in an electrophotographic apparatus such as a copy machine and a laser beam printer is described. The peeling member comprises a peeling sheet, and a support member for supporting the peeling sheet, and the support member is adhered to the peeling sheet with laser spot welding. The peeling member suppresses waving of the peeling sheet, and adheres the peeling sheet with the support member uniformly.

An object is to provide sheet feed members for use e.g. in a copying machine which make it possible to reduce the size of the copier and increase its operating speed, while satisfying all the other requirements expected for sheet feed members of this type. The sheet feed members are formed from a fluorocarbon resin.
