A power supply circuit is configured to supply power to a load based on power generated by a power generation element. The power supply circuit includes an input capacitor configured to store the power generated by the power generation element, a voltage conversion circuit including an enable terminal and being configured to output, to the load, an output voltage obtained by converting an input voltage between both ends of the input capacitor, and a starter circuit configured to apply a voltage to the enable terminal of the voltage conversion circuit. The starter circuit is configured to start up the voltage conversion circuit by applying an enable voltage to the enable terminal of the voltage conversion circuit. The voltage conversion circuit is configured to output the output voltage in an operating state after starting up when the input voltage is equal to or higher than a first threshold. The starter circuit is configured to apply the enable voltage to the enable terminal when the input voltage is equal to or higher than a second threshold higher than the first threshold. This power supply circuit can stabilize power supplied to the load.

Power supply circuit, start-up circuit, power generating device, and electronic apparatus

A terminal device is activated by causing an electric storage part to store power from a power generator, causing a voltage converter to convert a first voltage from the electric storage part into a second voltage, and supplying the second voltage to a control circuit. The terminal device includes a timer. The terminal device determines, according to registration data, which one of a normal mode signal and a pairing mode signal is transmitted by radio. The registration data is determined based on a time measured by the timer.

A transmission device includes a first control unit and a signal transmission unit. The first control unit outputs transmission data. The signal transmission unit receives transmission data, converts the data to a first frequency signal and a second frequency signal, and transmits the signals. A terminal device is capable of communicating with a master wireless device. The terminal device includes a control circuit. The control circuit has operating modes including a normal mode for outputting startup information relating to startup of the terminal device, and a registration mode for outputting registration information relating to registration with the master wireless device. One of the operating mode of the control circuit shifts to the registration mode based on timing of plural startups of the terminal device. The terminal device can shift to the registration mode using the same operation and mechanism as operating in the normal mode.

Terminal device and wireless communication system

The semiconductor device of the present invention has a body layer of a P-type impurity region formed on an Nlayer of an N-type impurity region. A plurality of trenches is formed through the body layer from the main surface thereof. A gate insulating film and a gate electrode are formed in each trench. A contact layer of a P-type impurity region and an emitter layer of an N-type impurity region are formed on the main surface of the body layer. A plurality of floating ring layers of P-type impurity regions is formed on the main surface of the Nlayer, being spaced apart from the body layer. A well layer of an N-type impurity region is formed between the body layer and Nlayer in an area contained in the body layer in plane view.

Semiconductor device

A high frequency receiver capable of stably canceling interference by a transmission signal even if a transmission signal input from a TV antenna is changed. Phase shifter () for changing a phase of an interfering distributed transmission signal, detector () for detecting a level of a transmission signal included in a receive signal input via an antenna, and level regulator () for changing a level of the distributed transmission signal in accordance with this level are provided. A signal input via level regulator () and phase shifter () and a receive signal are synthesized to be input into mixer (). Since a transmission signal can be cancelled even if a transmission signal input from an antenna is changed, a high frequency receiver can receive a signal stably when a transmission signal is changed.

Apparatus and method for interference canceller in a high frequency receiver and transmitter

A high-frequency receiver and a portable device using the same receiver are proposed for reducing power consumption. Image interference determiner () determines whether or not image interference exists at the present position in a desirable channel to be received, which channel is obtained by a receiving section () or a GPS receiver (). Power supply control circuit () switches mixer () from an image rejection mixer to a double balance mixer when determiner () determines no image interference involves. This mechanism allows mixer () to work as the double balance mixer circuit during the reception of channels free from image interference, so that a mixer consuming less power is achievable. When mixer () works as the image rejection mixer circuit, image interference can be reduced.

High-frequency receiver and portable device using the same

A power supply apparatus includes an input terminal to be connected to a DC power supply, a DC-DC converter connected to the input terminal, a first capacitor, a second capacitor, an output terminal, a first switch connected between an output port of the DC-DC converter to charge the first capacitor, a second switch connected between the first capacitor and the output terminal to discharge the first capacitor, a third switch connected between the output port of the DC-DC converter and the second capacitor to charge the second capacitor, a fourth switch connected between the second capacitor and the output terminal to discharge the second capacitor, and a switch controller. The switch controller is operable to charge the first capacitor and the second capacitor alternately charged, discharge the first capacitor and the second capacitor alternately, and prevent the output port of the DC-DC converter from being connected to the first output terminal. This power supply apparatus has a small power consumption, and does not generate noises.

Power supply apparatus, method of controlling the apparatus, and electronic device using the apparatus

A digital signal transceiver includes a frequency modulator for outputting a high-frequency signal frequency-modulated with a digital signal input thereto, a power amplifier, an antenna terminal, and an antenna switch. The antenna switch includes a first branch port for receiving a signal output from the power amplifier, a common port connected to the antenna terminal, said common port being connected to the first branch port in the transmitting mode, and a second branch port connected to the common port in the receiving mode. The transceiver further includes a filter having an input port thereof connected to the second branch port of the antenna switch, a high-frequency amplifier having an input port thereof connected to an output port of the filter, and a mixer for mixing a signal output from the high-frequency amplifier with the signal output from the frequency modulator.

Digital signal transceiver

A high-voltage semiconductor device includes: a semiconductor region; a doped contact region; an isolating region; a metal electrode which is electrically connected with the doped contact region; and floating plate electrodes. A section of the metal electrode is extended onto an interlayer dielectric film and located over the respective plate electrodes. The extended section is capacitively coupled to the plate electrodes, respectively. A CMOS circuit, a resistor, a capacitor are formed in a portion of the semiconductor region which is surrounded with the doped contact region.

High-voltage semiconductor device including a floating block

A high-voltage semiconductor device includes: a drain region; a metal electrode electrically connected to the drain region; and electrically floating plate electrodes formed on a field insulating film over a semiconductor regionm. Parts of the metal electrodes are extended onto the interlevel dielectric film and located over the respective plate electrodes. Each part of the metal electrode is capacitively coupled to associated one of the plate electrodes.

High-voltage semiconductor device

A high breakdown voltage semiconductor device includes a semiconductor layer, a drain offset diffusion region, a source diffusion region, a drain diffusion region, a buried diffusion region of a first conductivity type that is buried in the drain offset diffusion region, at least one plate electrode in a floating state formed on a field insulating film, and a metal electrode that is formed on an interlayer insulating film positioned on the plate electrode and a part of which is electrically connected to the drain diffusion region and that is capacitively coupled to the plate electrode.
