Provided are a vehicle, a vehicle monitoring server, a vehicle monitoring system, and a vehicle monitoring method, that can be suitably used in a configuration whereby the vehicle and the vehicle monitoring server communicate in relation to a travel caution region. A first control device in the vehicle sends an entry notification signal to the vehicle monitoring server prior to entry into a travel caution region, if the travel caution region is included in a target route or a target track. The first control device may also send a passage completed signal to the vehicle monitoring server after passing through the travel caution region. A second control device in the vehicle monitoring server performs an error output if, after receiving an entry notification signal from a specified vehicle, a passage completed signal has not been received by a second prescribed point in time.

This vehicle control device comprises: action amount determination units that determine evasive action amounts indicating the degree of evasive action relative to a recognized obstacle; and a travel control unit that performs travel control whereby a vehicle is caused to take evasive action corresponding to the determined evasive action amount. The action amount determination units determine the amount of evasive action, according to user preferences for the vehicle.

Provided is a vehicle control device which, when traffic participants are waiting in the vicinity of a railroad crossing for a train to pass, appropriately controls driving of a vehicle about to pass through the railroad crossing. Entry of the vehicle into the railroad crossing is restrained until a waiting time elapses since when the railroad crossing transitioned from a passage blocking state to a passage allowing state, the waiting time being set in accordance with the kind or the number of the traffic participants present in the vicinity of the railroad crossing. When the waiting time has elapsed, the vehicle is caused to enter the railroad crossing and pass (through) the railroad crossing.

A vehicle control device is provided with: a surroundings recognition unit which recognizes external conditions around a host vehicle; a behavior determination unit which, if it is recognized that another vehicle is present along a travel path along which the host vehicle is traveling, determines behavior of the other vehicle; a space setting unit which, if the behavior deter urination unit determines that the other vehicle will cross the travel path, sets a space ahead of the other vehicle in accordance with the behavior of the other vehicle so that the other vehicle can secure fields of vision; and a vehicle control unit which performs control to form the space ahead of the other vehicle.

If it is determined that, at a target exit of a roundabout that exists in a target route, a travel restricting event that restricts passing of a vehicle through the target exit has occurred on the basis of a peripheral travel environment detected by a peripheral environment detection unit, a route calculation device of the vehicle adds one circulation or a part of the circulation in the roundabout to the target route.

A vehicle control device includes an overtaking prediction unit configured to predict an overtaking section where a host vehicle overtakes another vehicle that exists ahead of the host vehicle and in a second lane different from a first lane where the host vehicle is traveling, and a travel controller configured to perform travel control to overtake another vehicle. The ignition timing circuitry is configured to retard an ignition timing so as to decrease a torque generated by the internal combustion engine in a shift-up operation of a multi-stage automatic transmission during a supercharging operation by a supercharger. The opening degree circuitry is configured to reduce an opening degree of a throttle valve so as to decrease a torque generated by the internal combustion engine in a shift-up operation of a multi-stage automatic transmission during a supercharging operation by a supercharger. The regenerative device is coupled to a compressor or a turbine of the supercharger to regenerate rotational energy in the compressor or the turbine so as to decrease the torque in the shift-up operation during the supercharging operation.

A control device for an internal combustion engine includes circuitry. The circuitry is configured to determine whether a running state of the internal combustion engine is in an auxiliary driving state in which an electric motor drives a compressor. The circuitry is configured to increase an opening degree of a waste gate valve when the running state is determined to be in the auxiliary driving state. The circuitry is configured to control a valve actuation phase variable mechanism to increase an overlap period in which a valve opening period of an intake valve and a valve opening period of an exhaust valve are overlapped with each other when the running state is determined to be in the auxiliary driving state.

A control device for an internal combustion engine including a supercharger and a waste gate valve, the supercharger including a compressor an electric motor, and a turbine, the turbine being provided in an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine, the waste gate valve being provided in a bypass passage that bypasses the turbine, the control device includes circuitry. The circuitry is configured to drive the electric motor in a high-load operation state in which the load of the internal combustion engine is determined to be equal to or larger than a first reference load and the temperature of the exhaust gas is determined to be expected to be higher than a reference temperature. The circuitry is configured to increase an opening degree of the waste gate valve in the high-load operation state.

A misfire detecting apparatus is provided wherein a misfire is detected based on a rotational speed parameter indicative of a rotational speed of an internal combustion engine. An average change amount of the rotational speed parameter in a first predetermined period and an inertia speed changing component which is generated with rotation of the engine are calculated, and a first corrected rotational speed parameter is calculated by correcting the rotational speed parameter according to the average change amount and the inertia speed changing component. A first relative speed parameter is calculated according to a difference between a first reference value and the first corrected rotational speed parameter, the first reference value being the first corrected rotational speed parameter corresponding to the rotational speed parameter which is detected at a reference timing at which a piston of a cylinder, which is subjected to the misfire determination, is positioned in the vicinity of the compression top dead center. A first determination parameter is calculated by integrating the first relative speed parameter for an integration period corresponding to 720/N degrees of a crank angle ('N' is a number of cylinders of the engine), and a misfire determination is performed based on the first determination parameter. The reference timing and a start timing of the integration period are set according to the ignition timing of the engine.

Misfire detecting apparatus for internal combustion engine

A fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine capable of executing calculation of an energization time of the electromagnetic valve at proper timing and thereby properly controlling the amount of fuel to be discharged from the fuel pump toward a fuel injection valve. In the fuel supply system, when a predetermined timing corresponding to a predetermined crank angle position of the engine deviates from a predetermined cam angle timing which is within a predetermined time period including a timing at which a top of a cam nose of the driving cam is abutting a plunger, and preceding and following the timing, and corresponds to a predetermined rotational angle position of the driving cam, the calculation timing of the energization time is corrected such that the calculation timing is made closer to the cam angle timing.

A fuel injection control apparatus includes a first injection controller, a second injection controller, and a selector. The first injection controller is configured to perform a first injection operation in an intake stroke and is configured to perform a second injection operation in a compression stroke. The second injection controller is configured to perform both the first injection operation and the second injection operation in the intake stroke. The selector is configured to select fuel injection performed by the first injection controller when an internal combustion engine is in a warm-up operating state and is configured to select fuel injection performed by the second injection controller when the internal combustion engine is not in the warm-up operating state.

A fuel injection control apparatus includes a first injection timing setting device, a target second injection timing setting device, a reference injection timing calculator, and a second injection timing setting device. The reference injection timing calculator is configured to calculate, as a reference injection timing, a timing at which a second-injection boosting operation is to be completed. The second-injection boosting operation is to re-boost a reduced voltage which has been reduced because of an execution of a first injection operation by using a booster circuit. The second injection timing setting device is configured to set, as a second injection timing at which a second injection operation is to be started, a later one of a target second injection timing set by the target second injection timing setting device and the reference injection timing calculated by the reference injection timing calculator.

An apparatus to control an internal combustion engine includes a cylinder operation controller configured to switch a cylinder operation between an all-cylinder operation and a cylinder deactivation operation. A deactivation time parameter integrating device is configured to integrate a deactivation time parameter indicating a deactivation time of the part of the plurality of cylinders to calculate an integrated deactivation time parameter. An inhibiting device is configured to inhibit the cylinder deactivation operation if the integrated deactivation time parameter calculated by the deactivation time parameter integrating device is larger than or equal to a reference value. The deactivation time parameter integrating device holds the integrated deactivation time parameter as an initial value after an operation of the internal combustion engine is stopped. The deactivation time parameter integrating device resumes integrating the deactivation time parameter using the initial value when the internal combustion engine restarts.
