Provide is a construction machine allowing an air cleaner to be located entirely low while securing dust-discharge function thereof, with no risk of adverse effects such as diffusion of dusts and complication in structure. The construction machine includes an engine and an air cleaner connected to an intake-side portion of the engine to filter intake air. The air cleaner includes an air-cleaner main body which filters the intake air and an evacuator which discharges dusts separated from the intake air and protrudes downward beyond the air-cleaner main body. The air-cleaner main body is placed on an air-cleaner placement surface, the evacuator protruding downward beyond the air-cleaner placement surface at a position deviated outward from the air-cleaner placement surface.

Provided is a construction machine having a central foothold and a maintenance access passage with high safety. The construction machine includes an upper slewing body including: an upper frame, an engine compartment, a cabin on a right or left region of the upper frame, a central foothold immediately forward of the engine compartment and on a central region of the upper frame widthwise of the upper frame, and a maintenance access passage extending rearward while elevated to guide a worker from the ground forward of the upper frame to the central foothold on a side opposite to the cabin. Widthwise of the upper frame, an inward edge of an upper end portion of the maintenance access passage is located inward of one edge of the central foothold, to thereby form a transit zone between the maintenance access passage and the central foothold.

Provided is a construction machine including: an upper slewing body including an upper frame; an engine room on the rear portion of the upper frame; a cabin on the front portion on the right or left side of the upper frame; a plurality of tanks including a fuel tank and a hydraulic tank installed on the upper frame; an air cleaner; a center foothold on the intermediate portion in the width direction of the upper frame and forward of the engine room; and a climbing step at the opposite side to the cabin. A first tank of the plurality of tanks is placed on a portion on the right or left side of the upper frame, and a second tank is arranged on a portion between the cabin and the engine room on the opposite side to the first tank. The air cleaner is superposed on the second tank.

A construction machine including an engine, a fuel tank, and a liquid reductant tank. The construction machine further includes a tank cover, and the fuel tank has an upper surface including a high-position surface and a low-position surface located at a lower position than the high-position surface and adjacent to the high-position surface through a step. The tank cover is provided over the low-position surface and at a height position approximately equal to that of the high-position surface to define a liquid reductant tank installation space in cooperation with the low-position surface. The liquid reductant tank has a replenishment port, installed in the liquid reductant tank installation space so that the replenishment port is close to a lower surface of the tank cover.

A working machine includes a pipeline disposed along a side deck in a front-back direction and connecting a hydraulic pump and a control valve. The hydraulic pump is mounted at a back portion of an upper frame of an upper rotating body and the control valve is mounted at a front portion of the upper frame. In the working machine, a reinforcing member having a space for accommodating the pipeline is mounted in the front-back direction of the side deck to an outermost side of the side deck in a widthwise direction thereof. The pipeline is passed through the reinforcing member.
