The method of producing a two-disc laminated optical video disc, includes first forming, on a first substrate, a first reflecting film capable of partially reflecting and partially transmitting a laser beam. Next on a second substrate, a second reflecting film is formed having a reflectance higher than that of the first reflecting film. A liquid ultraviolet-setting resin is applied to the first reflecting film and/or the second reflecting film. The above treated first substrate and the second substrate are bonded together, with a light-transmissible middle layer interposed therebetween. The liquid ultraviolet-setting resin is solidified by means of an ultraviolet light directed from below the first substrate.

Method of producing an optical video disc

A method is disclosed for manufacturing an optical disk with multiple layers efficiently with improved reliability. An optically transparent sheet is laminated on a first information recording surface, and an ultraviolet light hardened resin is formed thereon which has a second information recording surface.

Method for manufacturing optical disks

A method of producing an optical disc of bonded type includes the processes of: (A) forming a first reflection film, which is half transparent for partially reflecting and partially transmitting an incident light, on a first information record surface of a first transparent substrate; (B) forming a second reflection film, which has a reflective index higher than that of the first reflection film, on a second information record surface of a second transparent substrate; (C) dripping a liquid resin of ultraviolet hardening type onto one of the first and second reflection films by a spin coating method to form a first resin layer in a non-hardened condition; (D) dripping a liquid resin of ultraviolet hardening type onto the other of the first and second reflection films by a spin coating method; (E) emitting ultraviolet onto the liquid resin dripped by the process (D) to form a second resin layer of ultraviolet hardening type in a hardened condition; (F) provisionally bonding the first and second transparent substrates together in a pressure reduced environment; and (G) hardening the first resin layer by emitting ultraviolet from a side of the first transparent substrate.

Method of producing optical disc of bonded type

A method of making a two-disc laminated optical disc, comprises: continuously producing two synthetic resin discs in one injection molding machine using one stamper; forming a reflecting film and a protection film on each synthetic resin disc; and bonding together the two synthetic resin discs by forming an adhesive layer therebetween.

A disc substrate inject-molded comprises; a first circular surface having an inner non-data region formed around a center hole thereof and an outer data region formed around the non-data region; a second circular flat surface opposite and parallel to the first circular surface; and a ring shaped stack-rib formed on the non-data region.

Disc substrate used for an optical disc and a molding die for molding

In order to provide a laminated optical disc having a sufficient display portion and a reliable print display, a pair of disc substrates are bonded together to form an optical disc, in which one disc substrate is colored and contents of recorded matters are displayed on the surface thereof so as to eliminate the ground solid print layer for the print display layer and to avoid deformation or warping of the disc.

Laminated optical discs

A laminate optical disc which has excellent heat resistance and also has sufficient bond strength. Radiation-curing adhesive layers are formed on a pair of transparent base plates excluding the outermost circumferential portions, respectively, and an ultraviolet-curing resin is applied to the outermost circumferential portion. Then, the pair of transparent base plates are bonded together by the radiation-curing adhesive layers, and also ultraviolet light is irradiated to the ultraviolet-curing resin to fix the base plates firmly to each other along the outermost circumferential portions. In a process for producing a laminate optical disc, radiation-curing adhesive layers are formed respectively on a pair of transparent base plates, and then irradiated with a radiation excluding at least the outermost circumferential portion to be tackified. After the thus treated base plates are bonded together by the radiation-curing adhesive layers, the outermost circumferential portions of these layers are irradiated until they lose tackiness.
