In a pneumatic tire, a partial tie rubber layer is disposed between a carcass layer and an innerliner layer in a limited manner across an entire region excluding end portions near a pair of bead portions; end surfaces on both sides in a tire lateral direction of the partial tie rubber layer are inclined surfaces that form an acute angle with respect to a surface of the partial tie rubber layer on the carcass layer side; and an inclination angle of the inclined surfaces with respect to the surface of the partial tie rubber layer on the carcass layer side is from 20&#xb0; to 60&#xb0;.

Pneumatic tire and method of manufacturing same

There is provided a pneumatic tire, in which a first set of blocks that is partitioned and formed by two first circumferential grooves and a plurality of first lateral grooves is provided in the center region that includes the tire equatorial plane, a second set of blocks that is partitioned and formed by one second circumferential groove and a plurality of second lateral grooves is provided in the outermost portion in the tire width direction on each side in the tire width direction, a rib is provided between the first set of blocks and the second sets of blocks, the rib is divided by at least one third circumferential groove, and a plurality of sipes is formed in the first set of blocks, the second set of blocks, and the rib.

Pneumatic tire

The pneumatic tire includes lateral communication grooves, and circumferential grooves. In a tread portion shoulder region, the lateral communication groove is disposed between a pair of V-shaped crossing grooves adjacent in a tire circumferential direction and extends from a tread edge portion toward a tire equatorial plane. In a tread portion center region, the lateral communication groove communicates with the V-shaped crossing groove located to a projecting side of the V-shape of the pair of V-shaped crossing grooves and does not communicate with the other V-shaped crossing groove of the pair. The circumferential grooves are disposed in the tread portion shoulder region and extend in the tire circumferential direction, communicating with the V-shaped crossing grooves and the lateral communication grooves.

A pneumatic tire having a tread portion, side wall portions, and bead portions includes at least one row of blocks constituted by a plurality of blocks aligned in a tire circumferential direction formed in a vehicle inner side region and a vehicle outer side region of the tread portion. Sipes extend in a tire width direction in each of the blocks. A pitch count of the blocks constituting the row of blocks in the vehicle inner side region is greater than the pitch count of the blocks constituting the row of blocks in the vehicle outer side region. Sipes formed in the blocks in the vehicle outer side region are provided with a structure extending in a linear manner along the depth direction thereof and sipes formed in the blocks in the vehicle inner side region are provided with a structure extending while curving along the depth direction thereof.

Automobile tire

A pneumatic tire having improved braking performance includes sides and a tread section between the sides. In each of two regions on opposite sides of a tire centerline in the tread section, two circumferential main grooves extend along a tire circumferential direction in a zigzag shape, first lug grooves extend from an inner circumferential main groove to a pattern end, and second lug grooves extend toward the pattern end from the outer circumferential main groove. A wall of the inside circumferential main groove includes wall surfaces with a wall angle varying along the circumferential direction. An outside land section between the main grooves includes a notched lug groove extending in a tire widthwise direction from either the inside or outside main groove and closes within the outside land section. A groove depth of the notched lug groove is shallower than that of the first and second lug grooves.

Pneumatic tire with tread having shallower notched lug grooves

Provided is a pneumatic tire in which left- and right-side lateral grooves extend between first main grooves and second main grooves, and in which left- and right-side sub grooves extend halfway from the second main grooves toward the first main grooves. The lateral grooves and the sub grooves are disposed alternately with each other at predetermined pitches in tire circumferential directions. The left- and right-side lateral grooves respectively include: first groove portions extending from the first main grooves; and second groove portions extending from the second main grooves while curving inwardly toward tire width directions. The left- and right-side lateral grooves are offset from each other in the tire circumferential directions. Opening portions at both ends of each of the lateral grooves, which are opened to the first main grooves and the second main grooves, are shifted from one another in the tire circumferential directions.
