A heat exchanger includes an auxiliary heat exchanger, which has plate-shaped first fins and a plurality of first heat transfer tubes, and a main heat exchanger which has plate-shaped second fins and a plurality of second heat transfer tubes. A plurality of burrs are present at specified intervals on edges of the first fins. The auxiliary heat exchanger and the main heat exchanger are so positioned that the edges of the first fins on which the burrs are present are in contact with edges of the second fins, and the edges having the burrs present thereon are positioned on the inner side.

The present invention provides a heat exchanger, an air conditioning apparatus, and a method for manufacturing the heat exchanger capable of reducing the scattering of condensate water from curved portions to the downstream side in the direction of airflow. An indoor heat exchanger includes lower fins and upper fins. The upper fins are inclined in the direction of the airflow at an angle formed between the longitudinal axis of the upper fins and the vertical direction, the range of the angle being equal to or greater than the range of an angle formed between the longitudinal axis of the lower fins and the vertical direction, and the upper fins are disposed adjacent to top ends of the lower fins. The upper fins have curved portions that are curved in proximity to the portions bordering the top ends of the lower fins on the downstream side in the airflow direction F.

Heat exchanger, air conditioning apparatus, and method for manufacturing heat exchanger

An indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a cross flow fan and an indoor heat exchanger. The cross flow fan generates a flow of air. The heat exchanger has a two row part and a one row part. The one row part has an area that is smaller than the two row part, and is disposed so that it overlaps one part of the two row part in an air transit direction. Furthermore, during a cooling operation, a refrigerant flows to the two row part before flowing to the one row part.
