A waterproof structure for a connector includes a housing retaining terminals and having an opening, a cover closing the opening, and a packing mounted on the cover and sealing between the housing and the cover at the opening. The cover has through holes and projections projecting from an outer surface of the cover. The packing has a body sandwiched between the housing and the cover and locked portions continuous to the body. The locked portion projects from the through hole to an exterior space of the cover toward a direction in which the projection projects, and the locked portion is locked by the projection at least in a direction perpendicular to the direction of projection of the projection.

Connector having waterproof structure capable of preventing unintentional detachment of a packing

A connector includes a housing, an electroconductive member, and a retraction mechanism. The housing includes: a fitting portion to be fit to a counterpart fitting portion of a casing of a device to which the connector is to be connected; and a fixture portion to be secured to a fixture-portion receiving portion of the casing. The fixture portion is brought into contact with the fixture-portion receiving portion during a progress of the fitting of the fitting portion. The electroconductive member includes: a first electrical-connection portion to be brought into contact with a counterpart electrical-connection portion and thereby electrically connected thereto during the progress of the fitting of the fitting portion, the counterpart electrical-connection portion being included in the counterpart fitting portion; and a second electrical-connection portion connected electrically to a terminal of an electric wire. The electroconductive member is accommodated in an interior of the housing.

Attaching structure capable of preventing a service-plug from exposure to water

A sealing member configured to be installed to an outer peripheral surface of a first connector housing among a pair of connector housings seal so as to seal a gap between an outer peripheral surface of a first connector housing and an inner peripheral surface of a second connector housing is provided. An inner peripheral surface of the sealing member is formed with protrusions and grooves which are aligned with a first wavelength in an axial direction of the sealing member. An outer peripheral surface of the sealing member is formed with protrusions and grooves which are aligned with a second wavelength in the axial direction. The first wavelength is equal to or smaller than the second wavelength. Positions of the protrusions of the inner peripheral surface are shifted from positions of the protrusions of the outer peripheral surface in the axial direction.

Sealing member and sealing structure

A power storage apparatus includes a power storage module having a plurality of power storage elements which are aligned in one direction; a device placed adjacently to the power storage module in the direction of the alignment of the power storage elements; a high-voltage cable used in charge and discharge of the power storage module; and a support structure configured to support the high-voltage cable at a plurality of points to position the high-voltage cable along a reference path. The high-voltage cable is configured to electrically connect an electrode terminal of the power storage module to the device. The electrode terminal is one of two electrode terminals of the power storage module and is located on a farther side of the power storage module from the device.

Power storage apparatus

In a power shutoff device, an operation lever is provided to be rotatable between a first position where a receiving connector and the plug connector are separated and a second position where the receiving connector and the plug connector are fitted. The operation lever is slidable in a direction perpendicular to the fitting direction at the second position. A fitting detecting connector includes a fitting detecting receiving connector accommodating a pair of fitting detecting terminals in a pipe body penetrating and protruding from a side wall of a housing of the receiving connector, and a fitting detecting plug connector accommodating a conductive member electrically connecting the fitting detecting terminals in a pipe body. The fitting detecting plug connector is provided at a distal end part of the operation lever so as to be fitted to the fitting detecting receiving connector when the operation lever slides at the second position.

Power shutoff device

A junction block () includes a generally rectangular flat plate portion () attached to a side surface of an assembled battery. A control device () is disposed over a portion of the flat plate portion () which includes a middle of the flat plate portion () and which is positionally biased toward a lower side end of the flat plate portion (). A connector-connecting portion () is provided in one of the four corners of the flat plate portion () that is a rear end corner of an upper side end opposite the lower side end of the flat plate portion (). A rib () and a connector-connecting portion () are provided at a location on the flat plate portion () at which the rib () and the connector-connecting portion () clamp the electric power cable () that is connected to the connector-connecting portion () and that is laid along the upper side of the flat plate portion ().

Junction block, and vehicle

A connection unit includes a first relay connected between a first electrode of a first battery and a first power feed line towards a vehicle load, a second relay connected between a second electrode of the first battery and a second power feed line towards the vehicle load, a third relay and a current limiting resistor connected in series between the second electrode of the first battery and the second power feed line, a fourth relay connected between an electrode of a second battery having a polarity identical to the polarity of the first electrode and the first power feed line towards the vehicle load, and a conductor line connecting an electrode of the second battery having a polarity identical to the polarity of the second electrode with the second electrode of the first battery. There can be provided a connection unit suppressed in the number of components, suitable for usage in a vehicle incorporating a plurality of power storage devices, and a vehicle incorporating the connection unit.
