Three substrate side terminal members are provided on a circuit substrate on which electronic components for controlling a brushless motor are disposed. Two of the substrate side terminal members protrude on a side in close proximity to bearing retaining members, and the remaining one substrate side terminal member protrudes on a side separated from the bearing retaining members. Ends of flexible wire members, the other ends of which are held in engagement with stator side terminal members, are held in engagement with the three substrate side terminal members.

Air conditioning blower motor unit

An air-conditioning blower motor unit includes a brushless motor that is controlled by electronic parts arranged on a circuit board. A rotation shaft of the brushless motor that rotates a blower fan is rotatably held by bearing holders. The bearing holders and the circuit board are held by a support disk without overlapping each other. The support disk is held by the bearing holders via a vibration absorber.

Air-conditioning blower motor unit

A support plate is accommodated in the interior of a casing, the support plate having a bearing member that rotatably supports a rotating shaft of a brushless motor, together with supporting a circuit substrate on which a control circuit is provided. The casing is constituted by combining a lower side half body and an upper side half body. A second flow passage through which cooling air (air) is allowed to flow is formed in the lower side half body, and a protrusion is provided therein, which serves as a guide member for guiding the cooling air toward the side of (a first flow passage of) the upper side half body.

Blower motor unit for air conditioner

Each of blades of a centrifugal fan includes a primary wing section that has a trailing edge which is parallel to a central axis of rotation, a leading edge end section which is parallel to the central axis of rotation, and a thickness gradually growing thinner toward the trailing edge and the leading edge end section; and an auxiliary wing section that extends from the leading edge end section of the primary wing section toward the interior of the centrifugal fan. The auxiliary wing section has a length from the leading edge end section of the primary wing section to the leading edge of the auxiliary wing section that is greater at a side of a support section than at an intake side when viewed in a direction of the central axis of rotation, and a constant thickness across the entire area of the auxiliary wing section.
