An object of the present invention is to provide a novel cyclic peptide compound excellent in cell membrane permeability, a method for producing the same, a composition for screening use, and a method for selecting a cyclic peptide compound that binds to a target substance. According to the present invention, a peptide compound represented by Formula (1) or a salt thereof is provided. Provided is a mechanical lash adjuster including a plunger, a housing put into thread engagement with the plunger in an axial direction to form a thread engagement portion, the plunger engaging member fixed and retained in a circumferential direction of the thread engagement portion, and a coil spring urging the plunger in a direction opposite to a urging-force acting direction of a coil spring. A lead and flank angles of threads forming the thread engagement portion are set such that when an axial load acts on the plunger in either of a plunger extension and contraction directions, the plunger is made self-sustaining, and when the plunger swings by an amount corresponding to a backlash due to a lateral load, the plunger slides and rotates at the thread engagement portion to move in an axial-load acting direction.

Mechanical lash adjuster

A method of machining a screw is provided that is capable of preventing formation of a protruding section at a thread tip section. A thread is formed by cutting on a cylindrical body, and a surface of the thread is plastically deformed by rolling. Because of the cutting, a width between-side surfaces of a thread tip section is in a narrowed state as compared to a normal width. This width is narrowed toward a tip of the thread while a thread body section has a width expanded as compared to a normal width. Consequently, the side surfaces are formed to bulge by an excess thickness portion as compared to normal side surfaces. The rolling plastically deforms both side surfaces to cause the excess thickness portion to plastically flow toward the side surfaces.

With a poppet valve using a coolant, maximum combustion efficiency is realized by adjusting relative values of a heat insulation effect and a heat dissipation effect. From the inside of a head portion () to a stem portion () of a hollow poppet valve () a heat insulating space (S) and a cooling portion (S) loaded with a coolant (), separated from each other by a partition (), are formed. By properly setting an installation position and a vertical length of the partition () according to a type of vehicle for which the valve is used, appropriate heat insulation effect and heat dissipation effect are obtained. Further, by the partition (), mechanical or thermal strength of the poppet valve in which the heat insulating space (S) and the cooling portion (S) are formed is increased.

In an electronic device, when a 48 V feed system is shifted to a 12 V feed system, in order to supply the same electric power, a current of fourth times needs to flow into a backplane. Also, in an anteroposterior intake and exhaust system, there is a need to form a ventilator through which a cooling air passes in the backplane. Further, there arises a problem that a mechanical strength is deteriorated by provision of the ventilator in the backplane. There is provided a structure in which a pinnate projection is provided on a feed bus bar, and a cooling air is applied to the feed bus bar. Also, the feed bus bar is brought into close contact with an overall surface of the backplane, and electrically and mechanically connected thereto at multiple points, to thereby perform both of cooling and the suppression of stiffness deterioration.
