A vehicle theft alert system includes a lock state determination portion and a transmission control portion. The lock state determination portion determines whether doors of a vehicle have entered locked states after main power of the vehicle is turned off. The transmission control portion switches from normal mode to alarm mode when the lock state determination portion determines that the doors are locked. When a change amount of an air pressure of a tire of the vehicle is greater than a first pressure range in the alarm mode, or when a change amount of an acceleration applied to the tire is greater than a predetermined acceleration range in the alarm mode, the transmission control portion controls a mobile communication apparatus equipped to the vehicle to transmit an alarm information to an external apparatus located outside the vehicle.

Vehicle theft alert system

A theft tracking device includes a circuit board, a battery, a battery case, a housing, and an engagement part. The circuit board specifies a current position and transmits current position information regarding the current position specified through a wireless communication. The battery case houses at least a part of the battery. The housing houses the circuit board, the battery case and the battery housed in the battery case. The engagement part is provided by the housing, and engages with the battery case such that a first space of the housing in which the circuit board is located is separated from a second space of the housing that faces the battery.

An on-vehicle film antenna is constructed with a loop antenna and a monopole antenna and attached to a vehicle windshield. The loop antenna has a first element set in length to correspond to a first radio wave of a first frequency band. One end of the first element is connected to a power supply near a border section between a vehicle chassis and the vehicle windshield, and the other end of the first element is connected to the vehicle chassis. The monopole antenna has a second element set in length to correspond to a second radio wave of a second frequency band. One end of the second element is connected to the power supply near the border section in common with the one end of the first element, and the other end of the second element is disconnected from the vehicle chassis.

On-vehicle film antenna

An antenna is mounted in a vehicle for receiving a radio wave of a specified wavelength, and an electronic device such as a meter device is mounted in the vehicle. The electronic device tends to generate radiation noise when being operated. To reduce reception of the radiation noise by the antenna, a passive conductor element is located between the antenna and the electronic device to reflect a part of the radiation noise. The passive element is away from the electronic device by a distance that is about multiple times of one-quarter of the specified wavelength and is about multiple times of one-half of the specified wavelength in length.

Noise reception reducing arrangement

In a mobile antenna, an electrically conductive antenna element has a first portion with one end and the other end extending therefrom. The one end of the first portion is arranged at least adjacent to any one of a first support portion, a second support portion, and a corner portion of a body of a vehicle. The one end of the first portion is electrically connected to a feeding point. The other end of the first portion is arranged along a surface of the window such that polarized surfaces formed by the antenna element are non-orthogonal to a polarized surface of each of a vertically polarized wave and a horizontally polarized wave in radio waves.
