An operation input device includes: an operation body having a handle portion. The operation body tilting around a rotation center point when a user tilts the operation axis line of the handle portion. The operation body tilting in a predetermined number of tilting directions. The operation input device including multiple detection portions, the number of the detection portions being less than the predetermined number of tilting directions of the operation body. Each detection portion outputting a first output value when the operation body tilts in a direction corresponding to the detection portion and outputting a second output value when the operation body tilts in a direction not corresponding to the detection portion. A determination device determines a tilting direction of the operation body based on information on the number of first output values and information on a part of the detection portions that have outputted the first output values.

Oscillation operation input device

An operation input device includes: an operation body having a handle portion, the operation body tilting when the user tilts the operation axis line of the handle portion, and the operation body turning when the user turns the handle portion around the rotation axis line; a stopping portion that abuts on and stops the operation body so as to limit a tilting range of the operation body; a first concavo-convex portion disposed on the operation body; and a second concavo-convex portion. The second concavo-convex portion is disposed at a position corresponding to the first concavo-convex portion of the operation body when the stopping portion stops a tilting motion of the operation body. The first concavo-convex portion and the second concavo-convex portion are engaged with each other so as to restrict a turning motion of the operation body.

Operation input device

An operation input device includes: an operation body having a handle portion, tilting when a user tilts an operation axis line of the handle portion, and moving parallel to an operation axis line direction when the user depresses the handle portion; a tip end portion disposed at an end of the body, and pushed in a depressing direction along the operation axis line direction; an abutment portion having an abutment surface, wherein the tip end portion moves with abutting on the abutment surface during a tilting operation of the body, and abuts on the abutment surface and stands still during a depressing operation of the body; and an engaging portion disposed in the abutment portion. The engaging portion engages with a part of the body during the depressing operation of the body so that the engaging portion restricts a tilting motion of the body.
