According to one embodiment, a diagnostic system includes a conveyor device first and second sensors and a diagnostic device. The conveyor device includes an endless chain having a plurality of rollers coupled at regular pitches and each fit into a bush, to circularly move between a first sprocket and a second sprocket. The first and second sensors diagonally are disposed apart from each other on a moving path of the chain, irrespective of an operating direction of the conveyor device, to detect a passage of each of the rollers of the chain. The diagnostic device measures an amount of elongation of the chain based on a first detection signal output from the first sensor and a second detection signal output from the second sensor according to movement of the chain during operation of the conveyor device.

A vibration control device for a washing machine is composed of a drum to house laundry, a washing tank to house the drum which is suspended by a chassis of the washing machine, a drum driving motor, an acceleration detecting unit to detect an acceleration in the horizontal direction of the washing tank, a linear actuator fixed to the chassis of the washing machine to generate a driving force in the horizontal direction to the chassis of the washing machine, a force transmitting unit to connect a movable axis of the linear actuator with the washing tank, and a control unit to control the driving force of the linear actuator based on the acceleration detected by the acceleration detecting unit. The force transmitting unit transmits the driving force and absorbs mechanistically relative displacement in the back and forth direction and in the up and down direction.

A passenger conveyer apparatus including a plurality of steps connected to each other in an endless loop, traveling on a forward path, a backward path and a pair of turning paths connecting between opposite ends of the forward path and the backward path. Each of the steps comprising a step tread and first and second guide rollers offset from each other in the traveling direction of the steps. The apparatus also includes a forward rail configured to guide the first and the second guide rollers in the forward path, a backward rail configured to guide the first and the second guide rollers in the backward path, and a pair of turning rails having a curving rail formed in an arc, configured to guide the second guide roller in the turning paths. At least one of the turning rails is formed in a manner such that a line segment drawn between an orbital center of a corresponding curving rail and a first center of the first guide roller makes an acute angle with a line segment drawn between the orbital center and a second center of the second guide roller, and a loci made by respective turning motions of front and rear edges of the step tread cross each other.

Passenger conveyer apparatus

A wrist device comprises a case complete and bands attached to the case complete. The wrist device comprises covering portions formed in the bands. A portion of the case complete is covered with the covering portions.

Shock absorbing members are attached to an outer rim of a back surface of a wristwatch case body at 6- and 12-o'clock portions thereof, and they extend outward and curve downward. Each of the shock absorbing members has rising portions extending from its both side ends and which are freely swingably attached to the wristwatch case body to a circumferential surface of the wristwatch case body. In addition, a part of a front surface and the circumferential surface of the wristwatch case body are covered by a first cover member made of soft synthetic resin, and the first cover is partly covered by a metal-made second cover member. When shock is applied to the front and circumferential surfaces of the wristwatch case body, the shock is reduced or absorbed by the rising portions of the shock absorbing members. When shock is applied to the back surface of the case body, the shock is reduced or absorbed by the shock absorbing member.

An object of this invention is to provide a biological signal measuring device which is able to reproduce a biological signal waveform with high fidelity which is detected from an object under examination. The biological signal measuring device comprises: an amplifier and a filter forming a waveform leading section which has a filter characteristic represented by a predetermined transfer function and filters a biological signal waveform detected from an object under examination; a waveform cutting section for extracting a desired part of the biological signal waveform outputted by the waveform leading section; and a reverse correction circuit for subjecting the part thus extracted to reverse correction with a transfer function which is opposite to that of the waveform leading section.

Biological signal measuring device

A switch which provides different switching inputs by pushing different operating portions of a single operating button is disclosed. The switch comprises an operating button the periphery of which has a plurality of operating portions, a support provided at the center of the rear portion of the button, a casing having a plurality of through-holes defined opposite the operating portions of the button, and a plurality of operating shafts received in the through-holes. The rear surface of the button has bosses in and out of point-contact with the operating shafts. Although the bosses are rotated about the support for the button, the operating shafts receives simple axial forces. This secures good operation of the switch.
