An electrical terminal is disclosed. The electrical terminal has a first contact made of a first metal and a coupling member made of a metal fixed to the first contact. The coupling member has a cantilever extending along the first contact with a free end extending toward the first contact. The cantilever presses a second contact made of the first metal against the first contact.

Electrical terminal having a contact made of a first metal and a coupling member of a second metal

An electrical terminal is provided and includes a first member and a second member. The first member includes a pair of connecting face portions, a coupling portion, and a plurality of serrations. The pair of connecting face portions face each other in a substantially V shape such that a gap between inner faces of the pair of connecting face portions gradually becomes smaller from a wider-gap side to a narrower-gap side. The coupling portion connects the pair of connecting face portions at ends of the narrower-gap side of the inner faces. The plurality of serrations are disposed on the pair of inner faces and extend along intersecting directions. The second member has a substantially U shape that mates with the pair of connecting face portions and can displace outer side faces of the pair of connecting face portions inward to urge the inner faces closer to each other.

Electrical terminal

This invention provides an electronic card connector which can connect by smoothly inserting, to one connector, electronic cards of different sizes. An electronic card connector provides a guide case forming a universal slot which has an opening to which two or more different sized electronic cards can be inserted and which provides a connector, which can connect with the above-mentioned electronic cards, which is set in the interior of a universal slot, and in a universal slot, there is installed a freely rotatable shutter member which has a cover of a prescribed length at the end of one side in the longitudinal direction of this opening, and the opening of the universal slot by the cover of this shutter member is shut by opening an opening of a size for which the smallest sized electronic card can be inserted.

Electronic card connector

An electric connector for electrically and mechanically connecting two articles, each having a conductive part, is able to reduce the number of electric connectors used in a connecting structure, to reduce the connecting work so as to reduce the costs of the connecting structure, and to make the connecting structure more compact. This electric connector includes a housing, which is fitted to at least one of the articles, and a contact, which is provided on the housing and has a connecting part to be connected to a conductive part of the first article and a contacting part to be made to press against and contact a conductive part of the second article. Elastic deflectable wings or locking pawls protrude from the housing to secure the connector to at least one of the articles.

Electric connector for electrically connecting a wire of one article to a contact of another article

An electric connector is connected to a conductive part, e.g. an electric wire, of a first article, and is fitted onto the first article and/or a second article. The contact of the electric connector directly contacts a conductive part of the second article with a sufficient contact pressure. The electric connector includes a housing fitted onto at least one of the articles, and a contact provided on the housing and including a connecting part connected to the conductive part of the first article, a contacting point contacting the conductive part of the second article, and an elastic part, which undergoes elastic deformation when the contacting point is pressed. The housing and/or the contact has a holding member, which holds the elastic part in an elastically deformed condition in advance in the direction of pressing the contacting point and prevents the restoring movement thereof.

Electric connector

A connector has a housing, a cover for covering the housing. The housing has a card retention section, a plurality of contacts, a swing slider, a lock mechanism. The card retention section has a card insertion port for accepting therein a memory card. The contacts face the card insertion port to electrically contact with a distal end side of the memory card. The swing slider is provided to freely swing to an insertion direction of the memory card, and engages with the distal end of the memory card to slide with the memory card in an insertion direction when the memory card is inserted into the card insertion port. The lock mechanism for swinging the swing slider toward inside engages the swing slider to a concave section of the memory card for retaining the memory card when the memory card reaches a proximal end side of the housing.

Memory card connector

A connector has a housing, a cover for covering the housing. The housing has, a card retention section, a plurality of contacts, a swing slider, and a lock mechanism. The card retention section has a card insertion port for accepting therein a memory card. The contacts face the card insertion port to electrically contact with a distal end side of the memory card. The swing slider is provided to freely swing to an insertion direction of the memory card, and engages with the distal end and a concave section on a side of the memory card to slide with the memory card in an insertion direction, when the memory card is inserted into the card insertion port of the card retention section. The lock mechanism for swinging the swing slider toward inside to retain the memory card when the memory card reaches a proximal end side of the housing.

A connector for connecting, to a mounting wiring board, a flash memory card having a signal connecting portion in the vicinity of its one edge is provided. The connector includes a connector main body having a card mounting space formed therein, a cover member, rotatably attached to one end of the connector main body, for restricting one end of the flash memory card in the card mounting space, a locking mechanism for locking the cover member in a closed state, a signal connection contact pressed against the signal connecting portion of the flash memory card and electrically connected to the mounting wiring board, and a restriction member for restricting the other end of the flash memory card in the card mounting space in the vicinity of the other end of the connector main body.

A hinge connector comprising an insulative connector housing () having a predetermined shape, a through hole extending through the connector housing, a receiving chamber defined in the through hole, and an elastic contact member () having electric conductivity and a rotatable contact member () that are received in the receiving chamber, wherein the elastic contact member () is elastically contacted at one end thereof with the rotatable contact member (), and projects at the other end out of the through hole to form an external contact. This hinge connector is mounted on the main body housing () of an electronic device, a circuit board () is connected to a cover body, and the contact member () is disposed to make rotation contact with the pattern on the circuit board. Such arrangement provides a hinge connector wherein the contact smoothly rotates even if the contact pressure on the circuit board is increased, and good contact can be maintained.

Providing an ejector mechanism for card connector which is of a type wherein a transmission pin retained by a drive member is circulated in a heart-shaped cam groove along a predetermined circulating direction in conjunction with reciprocal movement of a push rod. A resilient cantilever arm has its fixed end secured to the drive member. A free end of the cantilever arm defines a bent projection, which is provided with the transmission pin. The cantilever arm utilizes its own resilience for urging the transmission pin against a bottom of the cam groove.

Ejector mechanism for card connector

In a connector main body, a first card installing space used to install an SD card is formed, and also, a second card installing space used to install a SIM card is formed between this first card installing space and a mounting wiring board. A SIM card connector mounted on the mounting wiring board is faced to the second card installing space. Since the SIM card is installed in this second card installing space, and a stopper is slide along rails so as to be moved on the SIM card, the connection condition between the SIM card and the SIM card connector can be maintained. Under this condition, the SD card can be mounted or dismounted with respect to the first card installing space.
