A subframe construction in which a drive unit is supported in vibration damping fashion on a subframe through a first vibration damping device, and the subframe is supported in vibration damping fashion on a vehicle through a second vibration damping device. A total spring constant of the first vibration damping device in a direction of input of torque reaction force of the drive unit is larger than a total spring constant of the second vibration damping device. An average value of a distance between a torque roll axis of the drive unit and the second vibration damping device is greater than an average value of a distance between the torque roll axis and the first vibration damping device.

Drive unit vibration damping support for electric motor-driven vehicle

A fluid-filled type engine mount having a pressure receiving chamber and an equilibrium chamber connected together through a first orifice passage, and an intermediate chamber connected to the equilibrium chamber through a second orifice passage. The intermediate chamber is partially defined by a movable film, and the pressure-receiving chamber and the intermediate chamber are situated to either side of the movable film. The movable film is a tabular rubber elastic body, and is imparted with non-linear spring properties in response to elastic deformation in a width direction thereof so that its deformation during input of idling vibration occurs in a low spring properties zone, whereas its deformation during input of vibration of greater amplitude than the idling vibration in a higher frequency range than a resonance frequency of the first orifice passage reaches a high spring properties zone.

Further, a difference between adjacent ones of the natural frequencies of the plurality of dynamic dampers is made held within 10-40% of the central value of the range of vibration in the natural frequency of the steering wheel.

Vibration-damping device for vehicles

A vibration restraining apparatus for vehicle of the present invention is comprised of a housing formed by a rigid material and having an inner space, and fixed to a vibration transmitting member; a filled member sealed in the inner space of said housing in a non-adhered state with leaving a gap with respect to a vibrating direction of said housing, and formed by an elastic body at least at a surface thereof. When the housing resonates by vibration transmitted from the vibration transmitting member, the filled member contacts inner surface parts located at both sides of the housing in a vibrating direction thereof to exercise a damping character due to an energy loss caused by a sliding friction and a collision. Thus, a large damping character occurs inside of the housing to reduce vibration of the housing effectively. As a result, vibration of the vibration transmitting member is effectively reduced. The vibration restraining apparatus for vehicle of the present invention can be lightened in weight, does not have a temperature dependency, and can exercise the vibration restraining effect for plural resonances having different frequencies.
