An elevator control device capable of carrying out proper control considering the energy saving and service life of lamp for various types of the lighting fixtures provided in an elevator car. The control device which controls the lighting fixture includes a storage which stores the type of the lighting fixture, a setting mechanism which sets transfer time for automatically pausing the car based on the type of the lighting fixture stored in the storage, and a detector which detects that the car is in a predetermined standby state. The control device turns off the lighting in the car when the standby state of the car continues for the transfer time set by the setting mechanism.

Elevator control device

In an elevator control device in which, when a verified person is authenticated as a registered person by an person authentication device, a security gate is opened to enable the movement into an elevator hall, even when a user cannot ride on an assigned car for some reason after passing through the security gate, the user is enabled to use an elevator. For this purpose, a hall destination floor registration device is provided in the elevator hall so that the user who is present in the hall registers his/her destination floor. A destination call is always registered automatically interlocking with the security gate, and when a predetermined condition is met, the destination floor registration of user made using the hall destination floor registration device is validated.

In an elevator system, a group supervisory control apparatus selects a car responding to a destination call registration performed on a landing destination operating panel. A limit value of the number of destination call registrations for stop floors existing in the same direction from the same stop floor is set in the group supervisory control apparatus in a manner corresponding to the stop floor. The group supervisory control apparatus counts the number of destination call registrations for the stop floors existing in the same direction from the same stop floor in response to the destination call registration performed on the landing destination operating panel, and limits the number of destination call registrations to be allocated to the single car according to a limit value corresponding to the stop floor.

When a long-period-earthquake occurs, an elevator is controlled to ensure that an abnormality is positively judged and that the elevator can be safely and promptly returned to a normal operation. For this purpose, by providing a usual seismic sensor and a long-period seismic sensor that detects long-period components of the shakes of a building, which are not detected by the usual seismic sensor, at two stages, an earthquake emergency return operation is performed when the seismic sensor has gone into action and when a first level has been detected by the long-period seismic sensor, a long-period-earthquake emergency return operation, which involves giving a notice to outside the elevator and inside a car, is performed. When a second level has been detected by the long-period seismic sensor, a notice is given to outside the elevator and inside a car, and a door opening action is performed by stopping the car at the nearest floor and a long-period-earthquake emergency return operation, which involves causing the car to travel to a temporary-stop floor, is performed, whereby the car is caused to suspend the operation. When no abnormality is discovered by performing an automatic inspection operation under prescribed conditions, the elevator is returned to a normal operation.

Elevator control apparatus and control method

An image monitoring apparatus for an elevator includes an image recording section configured to record a sequence of images of an interior of a car photographed by a camera, with a delay between the recording of successive images in the sequence. The apparatus also includes a detecting section configured to detect, based on an image in the sequence of images of the interior of the car, a violent behavior of a passenger in the car, and a display unit arranged in the interior of the car and configured to display the sequence of images of the interior of the car when the violent behavior of the passenger in the car is detected. The image recording section is further configured to reduce the delay between the recording of the successive images in the sequence of images when the violent behavior of the passenger in the car is detected.

A remote alarming system for an elevator includes: an elevator control device; a wireless alarming device provided independently of the elevator control device, for transmitting failure information of an elevator from the elevator control device through wireless communication; a management device remotely provided from a building in which the elevator is installed, and which performs wireless communication; and a portable terminal which performs the wireless communication with the wireless alarming device and the management device via a base station. The management device includes a database in which management information corresponding to each of the elevators is registered in advance, determines an alarm destination based on the management information registered in the database at a time of reception of the failure information, creates a telegraphic message to be transmitted based on contents of the failure information, and transmits the created telegraphic message to the portable terminal which is the determined alarm destination. The wireless alarming device allows the communication from the portable terminal as the alarm destination to a passenger in a car by connecting with a speaker provided in the car of the elevator.

Remote informing system for elevator

An elevator control system includes an entrance person authentication section provided at a predetermined distance from an elevator hall for permitting a visitor to use an elevator and register a call of the elevator. A storage section stores a predetermined estimated move time value for the visitor to move from the entrance person authentication section to the hall. An arrival detection section detects the elevator arriving at the hall. A timer starts to count based on permission of the entrance person authentication section and sets an arrival time value when the arrival detection section detects the elevator arriving at the hall. A display notifies a passenger in a car or at the hall of a presence of the visitor. If the arrival time value is shorter than the estimated move time value, the display is activated.

Elevator control system

An elevator control system high in security and capable of enhancing operation efficiency is realized. In a system in which an elevator group management device which manages a plurality of elevators as a group is installed, a validation device is installed at a security gate installed at an entrance of a building, and when validation is made by the validation device, the security gate opens to allow a validated person to move to an elevator hall of an entrance floor, the elevator control system includes validation information transmission means which transmits validation information to a corresponding bank out of a plurality of banks of the elevator hall based on destination floor validation information of the validation device, indoor population counting means which counts indoor population of each floor from the validation information, car assigning means which assigns a car to each destination floor of a passenger from the validation information, destination floor display means which displays a destination floor on the entrance floor hall for each assigned car, and call automatic registration means which automatically registers a destination call of the destination floor in the car when detecting riding of the passenger.

Control device for elevator

In an elevator group supervisory control apparatus, an estimation processing unit determines an estimated in-cage load in departing from a departure floor and estimates at least one of speed, acceleration, and jerk rate of the car in accordance with the estimated in-cage load to determine an estimated arrival time. An assignment unit selects and assigns a car serving as a response to a hall call on the basis of information from the estimation processing unit when the hall call is issued.

Group controller of elevators

Supervisory control of an elevating machine is performed in a remote supervisory center via a general public line. The general public line has multiple networks including a high-speed digital network for transmitting large quantities of information from the elevating machine to the center and a low-communication-cost public network for transmitting a control command from the center to the elevating machine. A network selector selects the high-speed digital network in the case of transmission of a large quantity of information and the low-communication-cost public network in the case of transmission of the control command, and causes the selected network to perform transmission. For security, the control encodes and decodes transmitted information individually for each of the networks, and performs collation and authentication of a specific code, which has been added to the control command at the center, at the elevating machine.

Control device for elevators

An elevator group control device includes a call allotment judgment means 5A which allots the cages to a newly registered destination floor selected by a passenger pushing a destination button upon a destination button board 1. The call allotment judgment means 5A first determines whether or not there exist a cage with a service schedule including the destination floor. If the judgment is affirmative, the destination floor is allotted to the cage. If not, it is judged whether or not there exist cages with a service schedule extending to a floor within a predetermined range above or below said destination floor. If there are a plurality of cages, the cage with a narrower service schedule is selected. If there exist only one cage, such cage is selected. Then, the service schedule of the selected cage is extended to include the destination floor. If there is no cage with the above requirement, a cage hitherto without a service schedule is selected and a new service schedule is created therefor.
