A casing for containing writing utensils or the like comprises a casing body for containing any desired number of writing or other utensils, and an annular supporting member for supporting the casing body such that it can be pivoted from a horizontal to a substantially vertical position. A suction member is located such that its working surface is spaced away from the lower end of the annular supporting member, and a position regulating mechanism is provided for pivotally supporting the annular supporting member. The position regulating mechanism is adapted to displace the working surface of the suction member between a first position at which it comes into close contact with an object and a second position at which it does not.

Casing for writing utensils and the like

A hairdressing kit combining a hair heating function with a haircurling function includes a hair dryer having a cylindrical air blower, cylindrical hair curlers, receivers for receiving the air blower of the hair dryer and the curlers detachably, and a casing body of an adiabatic structure through which the blower receiver communicates with the curler receivers.

Hairdressing kit

An accommodated article retainer retains various articles such as writing tools and cosmetics in a sandwiched state in various cases. The retainer comprises a base, which can be removably set in a case body. One or more pawl pairs, each having two opposed pawls, project upright from the top of the base. The opposed pawls in each pair have their upper ends provided with respective horizontal outward extensions, which are inserted upwardly through openings of an intermediate case member such that, after their insertion, the intermediate case member is entirely retained on the base by the extensions.

Retainer for retaining articles accommodated in a case

An iron unit adapted to be used with a hair dryer includes an ironing plate formed of a heat conductor having a groove and an exhaust groove in communication with the groove on a lower side thereof providing a contact surface with an object to be heated, and a plurality of air outlets extending from the upper side to the groove. A hot air source receiver includes a mounting plate having a cylindrical member engageable with the hair dryer for supplying hot air. A hot air-feeding space is in communication within the cylindrical member. The mounting plate is attached to the ironing plate, with the hot air-feeding space being in communication with the outside through a plurality of passages. A covering member defines a space on the outside of the engaging cylindrical member of the hot air source receiver. The mounting plate is attached in place with the space being in communication with the outside on the side of the cylindrical member and on the peripheral side of the mounting plate. The iron unit may further include a holder for holding the iron plate.

Iron unit adapted to be used with hair dryers

A cutter for cutting the holded edge of folded paper sheets or the like is disclosed, which comprises a box-like casing, a channel-like groove provided in the casing along one edge thereof, the folded edge of folded paper sheets or the like being fed through the groove, a pair of leaf springs disposed such as to oppose each other in and along the groove and in a close proximity of or in forced contact with each other to form a paper sheet folded edge guide region substantially in a central portion of the groove in the length direciton thereof, a cutter blade holder carrying a cutter blade having a cutting end extending in the paper sheet folded edge guide region and removably mounted in the casing, and a cutter blade holder stopper mechanism for restraining and releasing the cutter blade holder with respect to the casing.

A kit assembly for packing writing utensils and the like comprises a body hingedly connected to a lid member. The body includes a writing utensil which is a mechanical pencil with an integral ball-point pen in one end thereof, a holder for the writing utensil, which holder is fixable at a desired angle, a note holder placed in a binder mechanism holder, and the lid member includes upper and lower packing bodies hingedly connected in a similar manner as mentioned above, upper and lower pocket portions adapted to receive cards, etc., a so-called marker ruler designed to be slidably removable and a holding piece for holding clips, stamps and so on both being disposed on the back sides of the packing bodies. Male and female latch members are formed on the edges of the body and the lid member.

Kit for packing writing utensils, note pads and other accessories

A writing instrument packing kit assembly comprises a body and a lid member joined together so as to be detachable. The body is provided in its bottom with a holder portion adapted to assure that the tips of writing instruments packed therein are clamped and held in place and around an open end with an inclined surface portion inclined slightly, gradually and outwardly from the open end and a recessed portion in the vicinity thereof, and the lid member is provided on the inner-peripheral side in the vicinity of its open end with a suitable number of projecting pieces to be inserted into the recessed portion in the body and on its inner periphery with a thickened portion to be joined to the inclined surface portion of the body.

Writing-utensil packing kit assembly

A writing-utensil packed kit assembly comprises a body pivotally joined to a lid member so as to be openable. The lid member is laid with a mat formed of polyurethane foam, etc., and having a fingertip-inserting hole, the mat including a miniature ruler in its opening. The body includes a miniature eraser received in an end portion cut off by a partition and a suitable number of miniature writing utensils in the other portion. Male and female lid-member stoppers are formed on the peripheral edges of the body and lid member.

Writing-utensil packed kit assembly

A combination scissors and paper knife comprises a pair of scissors members each having a blade and a handle formed integrally with each other through a pivotal portion having a pivotal hole bored therein and a clasp inserted into the pivotal holes in the pivotal portions for pivotally attaching the pair of scissors members to each other, at least one of the backs of the blades having a paper knife edge put thereon. The pivotal portions are provided one each with control portions for regulating the rotation of the blades and also provided on the end faces thereof unconnected relative to the handles one each with segmental surfaces of circles with the pivotal holes as their respective centers adapted to draw a continuous arc when the blades are opened. It is safely used as scissors without pinching fingers etc. between the ricassos and, in its closed state, advantageously used as a paper knife.
