Bag dispenser

A leash assembly includes a retractable leash in combination with a pet refuse bag dispenser. The bag dispenser underlies a handle of the leash and includes a lid for permitting access to an inner cavity in which a plurality of bags are disposed. The bag dispenser is either integrally formed with the leash handle, or removably connected to a base of the handle. The plastic bags are disposed within the inner cavity such that the bags may be individually removed through a window provided in a side wall of the bag dispenser. The plastic bags are wound about a tubular axle that has circular flanges at opposite ends such that the roll of bags may rotate within the bag dispenser.

A leash assembly includes a retractable leash in combination with a pet refuse bag dispenser. The bag dispenser underlies a handle of the leash and includes a lid for permitting access to an inner cavity in which a plurality of bags are disposed. The bag dispenser is either integrally formed with the leash handle, or removably connected to a base of the handle. The plastic bags are disposed within the inner cavity such that the bags may be individually removed. The plastic bags may be selectively removed through a window provided in a side wall of the bag dispenser. The plastic bags may also be removed through a lid having slits through a flexible membrane. Alternatively, a cartridge containing the folded bags is inserted into the bag dispenser and either includes a window which substantially aligns with the bag dispenser window for access to the plastic bags, or a tear away tab for the removal of the bags through an open end of the bag dispenser.

A pet refuse bag dispenser attachable to a leash provides a device for conveniently carrying a roll of plastic bags when exercising one's pet. The dispenser includes a housing which defines an inner cavity and has an aperture therethrough which permits access to the inner cavity. The roll of plastic bags is disposed within the inner cavity such that the bags may be individually removed therefrom through the housing aperture. The plastic bags are wound about a tubular axle which is positioned centrally within the inner cavity of the housing such that the tubular axle, and thus the roll of plastic bags, may rotate therein. In one embodiment, the housing is formed of a cylindrical base into which the roll of bags is inserted, and a removable lid which encloses an open end of the cylindrical base. In another embodiment, the housing includes a blister pack affixed to a backing so as to capture the roll of plastic bags therebetween.

A cable adaptor assembly is disclosed that allows any type of plug to be adapted to any type of socket. The arrangement consists of at least two cable members each having a plug and socket separated by an electric cord wherein the plug and socket on any given cable member are of distinct configurations. This assembly allows an operator to quickly adapt a given electric plug from an appliance to a particular wall outlet.

Cable adaptor assembly

A treadmill assembly of the type including a frame, an endless generally horizontally disposed belt positioned generally at the base of the frame, a motor for driving the belt at varying speeds and a handle at the front end of and spaced above the belt so that a user running on the motorized belt may grasp the handle with his hands. A safety harness is provided for use with the treadmill assembly and includes a pair of straps adapted to be supported from support means over the treadmill and each including a loop portion at its lower end adapted to pass through the groin of the user. The safety harness further includes a catch band extending transversely between the rear sections of the loop portions of the straps at a vertical location such as to position the band behind the user generally in the central region of the user's back. The catch band and the loop portions at the lower ends of the straps coact in the event of collapse of the user while running on the treadmill to catch the user in a generally seated position and prevent injury to the user resulting from falling off of or onto the moving treadmill. Adjustment devices in the form of coacting seatbelt members are provided to both adjust the overall height of the safety harness to suit users of varying heights and to adjust the length of the loop portions of the straps to suit users of varying bodily configurations.
