A mounting composite for removably mounting sheet materials on a vertical wall formed of woven or knitted fabric. The mounting composite comprises a support layer with means along its front surface for retaining and displaying sheet materials, and a fastener attached along a rear major surface of the support layer. The fastener can include a multiplicity of aligned curved hook-like projections, or upstanding stems with mushroom heads. The mounting composite can be firmly removably attached on a vertical wall covered with woven or knitted fabric by engagement of the hook-like projections mushroom heads with the fibers of the fabric.

Mounting composite

A notice assembly comprising a support portion including a base part adapted to be supported on a horizontal surface, a vertical wall part having a lower edge attached to the base part and a hollow tubular part fixed along an upper edge of the wall part with an axially extending through opening in the tubular part facing the same direction as the front surface of the wall part. A display member has a portion rotatably mounted in the tubular part. That portion of the display member has a peripheral surface bearing a plurality of set of graphic symbols providing information about the location of the person (e.g., AT LUNCH, OUT OF OFFICE, RETURN SOON, IN MEETING). By manual rotation of the display member, any of the sets of graphic symbols can be positioned in the opening of the tubular part where they will be observed by a person looking at the notice assembly. Graphic symbols are provided on the front surface of the wall part that provide incomplete information about one or more of a) the location of the person, b) the time of return for the person, c) the normal work hours for the person, and c) an alternate person to contact when the person is absent; together with ink receptive means that afford application of indicia with quick drying ink from a quick drying ink applying implement or pen to complete the information, and afford subsequent removal of the ink.

Notice assembly

A binding assembly including (1) a plurality of support strips; (2) layers of pressure sensitive adhesive (which could be repositionable, removable or permanent pressure sensitive adhesive) along front surfaces of the support strips; and (3) layers of release material on a rear surfaces of the support strips. The support strips are adhered together to form a support strip stack with inner edges of the support strips in alignment, with the layers of pressure sensitive adhesive on the support strips adhered to the layers of release material on adjacent support strips, and with the front surfaces of the support strips uppermost in the support strip stack. The binding assembly further includes binding means along the inner edges of the support strips that affords separation of the support strips and revolving of the support strips relative to each other around axes generally parallel to their inner edges. Only tension applied through a paper sheet adhered along the full length of the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive on the uppermost one of the support strips adhered in the support strip stack can be used to separate that one support strip from an adjacent support strip adhered to the layer of release material on the front surface of that one support strip and cause revolving of that one support strip away from the support strip from which that one support strip was separated.
