A heat exchanger having on a first and a second side inlets and outlets, respectively, for a preferably gaseous heat exchanging medium, and having a heat exchanging component made of a high thermal conductive material, such as metal, and comprised of a package of lamellae, in which the heat exchanging material has a structure permeable to the heat exchanging medium, and in which channels for the medium passing from the inlet side to the outlet side are formed, such that medium flowing in via the inlet channels can flow to the adjacent outlet channels at an angle to the direction of entry via the heat exchanging material.

Heat exchanger, a method of manufacturing same, and applications

An apparatus for fixing a tightly closed loop of a tape of thermoplastic material around an object, such as a bundle of cables. The apparatus includes two jaws which can be opened to encircle the object. The tape is fed around the inner periphery of the closed jaws. There are means for clamping the free end of the tape and pulling back the tape so as to draw it tight around the object. Welding members connected to a microwave generator, all incorporated into the apparatus, serve to effect a weld on the tape to form a closed loop around the object.

Boning apparatus, for removing ribs from a belly (32), with a flexible and drivable support surface (4, 4a), guided over a guide roller (6, 6a), for supporting the belly (32) to be processed, a number of cords (14) disposed side by side thereabove including an acute angle with said surface (4, 4a) guided over said roller (6, 6a) and driven in the same direction as the support surface (4, 4a), and a striker mechanism (53, 53a) in front of the guide roller (6, 6a), covering the part of the belly (32) which is to be boned, driven in a reciprocating movement in the direction of the guide roller, and acting on the ribs (31) protruding from the belly.
