An oral care implement including a head, a gum massaging element extending from proximate a peripheral side of the head, and a plurality of tooth cleaning elements positioned on the head. The plurality of tooth cleaning elements including a side tooth cleaning element positioned inwards and adjacent the gum massaging element. The gum massaging element provides transverse support to the side tooth cleaning element during brushing.

Oral care implement

An oral care implement has a head and a first tooth cleaning element. The first tooth cleaning element has a generally convex end surface such that dentifrice applied to the head is adapted to be directed towards a distal cleaning surface of the head. The oral care implement can also include a gum massaging element extending from a peripheral side of the head.

The toothbrush according to the invention is equipped with a handle of which the surface is formed, at least in certain sections, in a facet-like manner by way of multiplicity of planar surface-area elements. The surface-area elements are arranged directly adjacent to one another and form a network of element edges. The multiplicity of surface-area elements reproduce, more or less, an essentially rounded handle form, this ensuring comfortable use of the toothbrush in different rotary positions in relation to its longitudinal axis.

The inventive handle for a brush, in particular for a toothbrush or a domestic brush, has an integral handle body with a hollow space which is surrounded by a wall. Recesses which are offset in relation to one another and open into the hollow space are formed in the wall. The handle is produced from a plastic in an injection-molding process using an injection-molding die which has finger elements, with sections of these finger elements touching in a sealing manner when the injection-molding die is in the closed state and, as a result, these finger elements forming the recesses and the hollow space in the hardened handle.

The invention relates to a handle body for body care implements, such as toothbrushes, hairbrushes, razors, etc. having a skeleton form base structure formed from a hard component for supporting at least one soft component. The base structure includes a grip part with an elongate, spinal core arranged in the grip with protruding extensions in the form of ribs and/or stump-like raised parts that form open spaces filled with the soft component.

Handle body for body care implements

A toothbrush has a toothbrush body, and a handle part wherein a toothpaste container can be removably inserted therein. The toothpaste container has a handle shell part which, with the toothpaste container inserted into the handle part, forms part of the outer surface of a handle. The toothpaste container essentially maintains its form during teeth cleaning and transmits loading which occurs, irrespective of the filling level of the toothpaste container of the toothbrush. The mounting of the toothpaste container on the toothbrush body allows very straightforward and quick removal and opening or insertion and closure of the toothpaste container. The container holder is provided with a closure pin, wherein when the toothpaste container is inserted into the handle part, a sealed closure of the toothpaste container is ensured. With the toothpaste container removed from the handle part, it is possible for toothpaste to be squeezed out of the toothpaste container.
