In an electrographic printing device a plurality of printing groups each have a respective plurality of developer stations. A plurality of toner reservoirs are each connected via a respective toner transport channel with one or more of the developer stations. Each of the toner reservoirs outside of the printing groups is stored in a respective toner transport unit. Each of the toner reservoirs is provided with a first circuit having a memory in which is stored at least a color filled into the respective toner reservoir. A respective second circuit with a memory is associated with each of the toner transport units. These memories have stored therein at least the respective toner color filled into the respective stored toner reservoir. A respective third circuit with a memory is provided for each developer station, the respective third circuit memory having stored therein at least a toner color filled into the respective developer station.

Electrographic printing device comprised of printing groups with toner reservoirs outside of the printing groups

In an arrangement to convey toner from a toner bottle of a toner reservoir into a toner receiving container, the toner bottle has a cover to close an output opening thereof. The cover has an upper cover part to accept the toner bottle and a lower cover part to close the outlet opening. A first locking unit provided within the cover arresting the lower cover part to the upper cover part such that it cannot be displaced before placement of the toner reservoir onto the toner receiving container. The cover is receivable on the toner receiving container so that the outlet opening of the toner reservoir is positioned above a filling opening of the toner receiving container. A slider has an outlet opening, the slider closing or opening the filling opening of the toner receiving container. The slider has an unlocking unit that unlocks the first locking unit upon placement of the toner reservoir on the toner receiving container so that the lower cover part is no longer arrested to the upper cover part. The lower cover part and the slider have a latching unit that engages in an active connection upon placement of the toner reservoir onto the toner receiving container so that the lower cover part moves with movement of the slider.

Arrangement for conveying toner from a toner supply container into a toner receiving container

In a method and system for determination of a fill state of a transport reservoir for toner material, toner material is transported from a transport reservoir into a developer station with aid of a toner transport system of a printer or copier. At least a toner material quantity supplied to the developer station is detected. The detected toner material quantity is associated with the transport reservoir from which the toner material is extracted.

In a method for generating a developer mixture in a developer station of an electrographic printing device, magnetizable carrier particles and toner are simultaneously filled into the developer station, and in case of an error or an aborting of the filling a continuation takes place at a later time of the method.
