An inner-conductor contact element for an angled connector has a crimp region which is designed to be connectable to an inner conductor of a cable, and an interface region which is designed to be connectable to an inner-conductor contact element of a counterpart connector corresponding to the angled connector. The inner-conductor contact element also has a connection region which connects the crimp region to the interface region. The inner-conductor contact element is formed in one piece. The connection region has a first transverse extent and a second transverse extent which is smaller, preferably many times smaller, than the first transverse extent. The connection region has an angular shape in a plane formed by the first transverse extent and a longitudinal extent of the connection region.

A prefabricated electrical cable comprises an outer conductor shield and an insulation element. The insulation element has a first longitudinal section in which the insulation element is exposed from the outer conductor shield, and a second longitudinal section which adjoins the first longitudinal section and in which the insulation element is enclosed by the outer conductor shield. A cross-sectional area of the insulation element in the first longitudinal section is changed with respect to the cross-sectional area of the insulation element in the second longitudinal section in such a way that the first longitudinal section of the insulation element can be inserted into a first longitudinal section of an outer conductor contact element of an electrical plug connector, and the insulation element is calibrated to the outer conductor contact element.

Prefabricated electrical cable, plug connector assembly, and method and apparatus for manufacturing an electrical cable

An insulation element and an outer conductor, at the end region of which spring lugs for contacting an outer conductor of the mating plug connector are formed. An electrical plug connector for electrically and mechanically connecting to an electrical mating plug connector has an insulation element and an outer conductor contact element, which at least partly surrounds the insulation element. Spring lugs for contacting a corresponding outer conductor of the mating plug connector are formed in the outer conductor contact element. When the plug connector is not plugged together with the mating plug connector, at least one spring lug is spaced apart from the insulation element. When the plug connector is partly plugged together or plugged together with the mating plug connector, the insulation element is centeredly clamped by at least a subset of the spring lugs because of a first element of the mating plug connector, said first element being applied to the outer conductor contact element.

A method for assembling a cable connector which has an outer conductor part, and insulating part and an electrical cable that is prefabricated with an inner conductor part. In a first method step, the insulating part is introduced into the outer conductor part by relative movement between the insulating part and the outer conductor part. In a second method step, before or at least partially during the first method step, the electrical cable is prefabricated to have an inner conductor part secured on an inner conductor of the cable. A cable connector arrangement includes a cable connector and an electrical cable with a plurality of individual lines each having a respective insulation and electrical conductor. The connector may include a front section configured for connection to a mating connector, a rear section in which the individual lines are surrounded by a cable sheath, and a central section. The electrical conductors of two individual lines have a first mutual distance in the rear section and a greater, second mutual distance in the front section with the mutual distance being increased in the central section. At least one pressing means in the central section may press at least the two individual lines together such that their insulations undergo mechanical deformation in a region of common contact.
