A paddle latch comprising a housing, a latch member and a bolt; wherein the bolt is mounted for sliding axial movement between a first, deployed, position and a second, retracted, position. The latch member is configured to move the bolt between said first and second positions upon actuation by a user. The paddle latch further comprises an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism is configured to provide selective adjustment of the deployed position of the bolt with respect to the housing.

Paddle latch

A retention arrangement for releasably securing a closure against a fixed body is provided. The retention arrangement includes a housing defining a mouth configured to receive a striker and defining a longitudinal axis, and at least one retention element configured to selectively retain the striker within the mouth, and movable between an open position and a closed position. The retention element is resiliently biased towards the closed position. The retention element is configured to open upon displacement due to the striker along the longitudinal axis in a first direction, and to close upon complete insertion of the striker within the mouth. The retention element is configured for rotation about at least two non-parallel axes so as to direct the striker towards the mouth.

Retention arrangement

A compression latch comprising a housing, a handle, and a latch member is provided. The housing has an inboard and an outboard side, and defines a plane substantially parallel to a closure plane. The handle is pivotably connected to the housing at a handle pivot point having a longitudinal axis substantially parallel to the plane, and the latch member is pivotably connected to the housing through a latch member pivot point, which is remote and inboard from the handle pivot point and also has a longitudinal axis substantially parallel to that of the handle pivot point. The latch member is pivotable about the latch member pivot point between an open and a closed position. The handle is connected to the latch member by a first linkage so the latch member is moveable between the open and closed positions by angular movement of the handle about the handle pivot point.

Compression latch

A paddle latch comprising a housing defining a first side and a second side, a shaft extending through the housing defining a first shaft portion on the first side and a second shaft portion on the second side, a paddle for actuation by a latch user on the first side and a releasable latch member for co-operation with an associated striker to latch the paddle latch on the second side wherein the paddle is connected to the first shaft portion and the latch member is connected to the second shaft portion such that torque may be transferred from the paddle to the latch member to release the latch member from the striker in use.
