A valve switch unit has a detector configured to detect an input, such as current, from a machine controller. The valve switch unit also has a switching circuit configured to switch control of the one or more valves an automatic controller to the machine controller if the input from the machine controller exceeds a predetermined threshold. When the current detected exceeds the predetermined threshold, the circuit switches control from the automatic controller to the machine controller. In a similar fashion, when the current falls below the predetermined threshold, the circuit switches control back to the automatic controller.

Valve switch unit

The invention relates to a rotating construction laser (), in particular a self-compensating construction laser. The construction laser () comprises a base () and a laser unit () for emitting a laser beam () rotating around an axis () of rotation so that the rotating laser beam () defines a laser plane. Therein, the laser unit () is built and tiltably arranged to the base () in such a way, that the axis () is tiltable in at least one direction. Furthermore, a tilt sensor () is present for measuring the tilt of the axis (). According to the invention, the tilt sensor () is supported by a sensor platform being pivotable with respect to the laser unit around the axis () between at least two defined pivoting-positions (-) in such a way, that the tilt of the axis () is measurable by the tilt sensor () in the at least two pivoting-positions (-).

Rotating construction laser, in particular a self-compensating rotating construction laser, and method for measuring a tilt of an axis of rotation of a construction laser

A rotating construction laser includes a laser core module with a laser unit for emitting a laser beam and rotation means for rotating the laser beam around an axis of rotation defining a laser beam plane. The rotating construction laser is provided with an outer pivoting mechanism attached to the laser core module, the outer pivoting mechanism being operable to tilt the laser core module around an X-axis as a first axis of rotation and around a Y-axis as a second axis of rotation. The rotating construction laser further includes a dual grade mechanism with a first level sensor operable to indicate a rotation of the laser core module around the X-axis and a second level sensor operable to indicate a rotation of the laser core module around the Y-axis. Both level sensors can be operated mutually independent.
