An additively manufactured antenna device is disclosed, including a base portion and a body portion. The body portion is attached to the base portion and includes a lattice stiffening structure configured to eliminate secondary printing support.

Additively manufactured antenna

An antenna device is disclosed, including a cavity structure having a floor portion and a perimeter wall portion connected to the floor portion. A dipole structure extends upward from a center region of the floor portion inside the cavity structure. At least one of the wall portion and the dipole structure has an opening small enough relative to an expected radio frequency wavelength to avoid affecting antenna performance.

Additively manufactured mesh cavity antenna

Radio frequency ('RF') absorbing devices used as RF termination devices or free space absorbers, for example, are formed with a planar wafer made of an inorganic thermally conductive material. The planar wafer has a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. A metallized resistive film is disposed on the first surface. A metallized reflective heat sink is disposed on the second surface.

High power thermally conductive radio frequency absorbers

A hemispherical antenna includes a ground plane having a circular waveguide. A dielectric lens is coupled to the ground plane. The dielectric lens has a tapered end opposite to an end coupled to the ground plane. The dielectric lens does not include a parasitic crossed-dipole element. The hemispherical antenna is scalable in size for operation at higher operating frequencies.

A temporary microwave horn antenna coupling device is configured for collecting or injecting quantifiable samples of RF energy. The device comprises single electric field probe mounted at the radiating aperture of a radiating payload. The electric field probe can be oriented at 45 degrees to the horizontal and vertical electric fields of a linearly polarized antenna, or oriented for a single linear polarization to the electric field in a circular polarized antenna. The electric field probe is connected to an attenuator and/or lossy cable for reduced reflections and gradient thermal dissipation.

Coaxial radio frequency ('RF') connectors for high-power handling are disclosed. Specifically, a high-power male coaxial connector ('HPMC') is disclosed. The HPMC includes a center conductor, an outer conductor disposed around the center conductor, an insulating layer positioned between the center conductor and the outer conductor, and a first elastomer. The outer conductor has an outer conductor front-end (&#x201c;OCFE&#x201d;) and the insulating layer has an insulating layer front-end (&#x201c;ILFE&#x201d;). The first elastomer is positioned between the center conductor and the insulating layer. The insulating layer may include an insulating layer cavity (&#x201c;ILC&#x201d;) extending inward into the insulating layer from the ILFE and the first elastomer may be within the ILC.

Single E-probe reduced aperture waveguide coupler

An apparatus, method, and system are disclosed that can be used to reduce the peak radiated flux density of a horn antenna or for testing the electronics associated with a horn antenna. A horn antenna with narrow and wide ends can have disposed within it a surrogate waveguide. The surrogate waveguide has a wide end smaller than the wide end of the horn antenna, and the wide end of surrogate waveguide extending to or beyond the wide end of the horn antenna. A mounting plate or face plate covers a portion of the wide end of the horn antenna.
