A roofing material including a bitumen or other hot melt coating disposed across a base sheet of stitch-bonded fabric incorporating a blend of standard and bi-component polyester staple fibers stitch-bonded with a plurality of parallel stitch lines of stitching yarn running in the machine direction. The bicomponent fibers may be heat activated and cooled prior to application of the hot melt coating thereby providing dimensional stability.

Roofing material and related method

A cleaning pad structure of stitch bonded construction incorporating one or more substrate layers of an absorbent nonwoven material with an optional additional fluid blocking substrate layer of polymer film or other suitable material in juxtaposed relation to the absorbent nonwoven layers. Stitching yarns are introduced in stitching relation through the substrate layers. One face of the pad defines a cleaning surface of raised yarn loops formed by the stitched yarns. The pad further includes an attachment surface facing away from the cleaning surface. The stitches of yarns across the attachment surface define an engagement surface for attachment to cooperating hooking elements across a surface of a mop head to define a hook and loop attachment system.

Cleaning system incorporating stitch bonded cleaning pad with multi-filament stitches

A wipe structure of stitch bonded construction incorporating at least one inner layer of cellulose tissue disposed in sandwiched relation between a first discontinuous cover layer of spunbonded polypropylene fleece and a second discontinuous cover layer of spunbonded polypropylene fleece such that the inner layer, the first discontinuous cover layer and the second discontinuous cover layer form a stacked composite and a plurality of stitching yarns extending in stitched relation through the stacked composite.

Stitch bonded wipe

A stretchable flame barrier panel including an interior stretch zone having elastomeric yarns extending across a fibrous base layer of textile fibers and optionally substantially stable lateral selvage zones outboard of the interior stretch zone. In a finished state, the interior stretch zone has substantial stretch and recovery in both the machine direction and the cross-machine direction.

Stretchable flame barrier panels

A mattress including a stretchable flame-retardant textile cap incorporating a top panel of flame retardant material operatively connected to a stitch-bonded flame retardant textile skirting with machine direction stretch and recovery properties disposed over a resilient mattress core to provided flame barrier protection to the mattress core.

Mattress with flame barrier cap and related method

A stitch-bonded tape or other directionally stabilized product wherein stitch-bonding is carried out by overstitching yarns stitched through a sheeting or other surface substrate in conjunction with the introduction of high tenacity lay-in yarn elements disposed longitudinally in the machine direction of formation to provide strength in the length direction. The overstitching yarns secure the lay-in yarns in place relative to the surface substrate. An adhesive or other coating is disposed in covering relation to the lay-in yarn elements.

Directionally reinforced products and related method

An adhesive tape product incorporating foam that is stitch-bonded with a stitching yarn to provide substantial dimensional stability in the machine direction without sacrificing the sound dampening and insulation properties of the foam. A pressure sensitive adhesive is disposed in overlying relation to at least one face of the foam. One or more fibrous layers may be positioned between the foam and the adhesive.

Stitch bonded foam tape product and method

A composite loop face fabric which incorporates a multi-bar stitch-bonded construction and related fastening system. A yarn system forms an arrangement of surface loops extending in stitched relation through a composite nonwoven stitching substrate incorporating at least one layer of a cellulose tissue disposed in surface covering relation to at least one layer of a nonwoven support material of polymeric fiber. Multiple layers of cellulose tissue and nonwoven support material may be used if desired.
