A predistortion system for correcting a distortion of a distorting component is provided. It comprises a signal generator, adapted to generate a first signal based upon a reference signal, the distorting component, adapted to generate a second signal, based upon the first signal, and an iterative predistortion device, adapted to determine a compensated signal based upon the second signal and the reference signal. The signal generator is adapted to use the compensated signal as reference signal in further iterations after a first iteration. The predistortion system moreover comprises a predistortion calculation device, adapted to determine a predistortion function based upon the reference signal and the first signal. The signal generator is then adapted to generate the first signal based upon the predistortion function for further reference signals.

Predistortion system and method using a predistortion function

A predistortion system for optimizing the performance of a distorting component. The predistortion system comprises a signal generator, the distorting component, an analyzing device for frequency and/or time domain analysis, and a predistortion device. The signal generator generates a first signal according to a reference signal. Furthermore, the first signal after being passed through the distorting component results in a second signal. Then, the second signal after being passed through the analyzing device results in a third signal. Moreover, the third signal after being passed through the predistortion device results in a compensated signal. In addition to this, the reference signal is provided for the predistortion device.

Predistortion system and method

A device for measuring the phase-noise spectrum of a pulsed sinusoidal signal generates a pulsed sinusoidal signal, converts the analog pulsed sinusoidal signal into a corresponding digital, pulsed sinusoidal signal and mixes the digital, pulsed sinusoidal signal into the baseband by means of quadrature mixing. Following this, the phase of the pulsed sinusoidal signal in the baseband is determined by means of Fourier transform of the phase of the pulsed sinusoidal signal, the phase spectrum of the pulsed sinusoidal signal is determined, and the phase-noise spectrum of the pulsed sinusoidal signal is determined by removing the spectral lines associated with the sinusoidal signal from the phase spectrum. According to the invention, the pulse pauses are removed from the pulsed sinusoidal signal in the baseband.

Method and device for measuring the phase-noise spectrum of a pulsed sinusoidal signal

The present disclosure provides an evaluation unit which includes a central data-processing unit, at least one storage unit and an allocation unit, wherein the allocation unit and the at least one storage unit () are connected to the central data-processing unit. The central data-processing unit loads at least one OFDM signal from the at least one storage unit and transfers this to the allocation unit. The allocation unit displays the individual signal spaces of the OFDM symbols of the at least one OFDM signal in a constellation diagram and in a frame-output matrix in such a manner that it is possible to allocate via the diagrams at which signal spaces data symbols and/or pilot symbols and/or zero symbols and/or don't care symbols are present and with which modulation type the data symbols and/or pilot symbols are modulated.

Evaluation unit and a method for demodulation of OFDM data

A method for determining the parameters and characteristics of an n-port network such as an amplifier is described. The parameters are determined by applying an input signal train or sequence with different amplitudes and measuring an output signal train, taking into account a temporal displacement that the output signal train has in relation to the input signal train. The temporal displacement is determined by a cross-correlation of the output signal train with the input signal train.
